The food is good, mostly traditional French fare. Whoever oversees front of house is asleep at the wheel with dishes coming out of order and entrees dropped while we are still eating our soup. That said, we like the place and will eat there again
We had dinner for our son‘s birthday. He loves their duck.The trout almondine was also excellent. There was only one waitress working and the restaurant was completely booked. She did an amazing job attending to all the tables. Cafe Normandie is always a great experience!
We have been going to Cafe Normandie for as long as I can remember, at least 20 years. It has always been as close to European as there is in this area. It is certainly the best restaurant in Annapolis. The service is excellent and the food is genuinely French. And it's affordable. In the winter, the fire place is warm and charming, and the ambience is pleasant and welcoming all year round. It is equally appropriate and comfortable whether dressed up or in casual attire....
