My friend asked for bread. Our server told him that they didn't have bread and suggested we order the crab dip because it contains bread. Then when he asked for more bread, he was told he could get some for $2. Not sure if the bread couldn't have been ordered separately or what, but it was confusing.

Highlight- Nadire was our excellent bartender working on the beautiful second floor marble bar. Nadire is gracious and makes fantastic cocktails- delicious!! Fried oysters & shrimp cocktail were fresh & ample servings. Say hi to Nadire on your next visit.

Stopped by for lunch while visiting Annapolis for the day. Great location and nice atmosphere. We were greeted warmly and seated quickly. The food was delicious and generous portions, the service was excellent and great value. The crab cake sandwich and blackened Salmon sandwich, were superb.

I have gone to Choptank several times, but unfortunately, I keep forgetting what my experiences have been. Consistent with the yeah you can. Am I on your way yeah I don't have a conversation until 1 o'clock, so I'm good six of us who had dinner last night, the entrée portions are small, and they are expensive. I had a Chilean Seabass, $47 for the entrée, which arrived on the very large plate looking like a hockey puck on an Ice field. Nothing to dress up the plate, nothing to make me feel like I was getting something for my money. Just a lonely piece of fish on a platter. The sides were good and plentiful. But for the high price, there are other Annapolis restaurants I would prefer. And the drinks? Be prepared to take out a loan!

Silverware was dirty. Server reached over our drinks and food. Server never asked us if we wanted dessert and brought the check as soon as we were done. She took it off the check later when we ordered dessert. Overall she was nice but not really experienced. Signature drink I ordered was different than the last time. Had too much ice. Food was and is always very good.

Reservations were made 4 days in advance and yet, they stuck us upstairs, next to the bar ,,, it was soooooo loud. Food is mediocre and place is overpriced. Quality has definitely gone down since place first opened.

Met up with friends from college and had a fantastic lunch at Choptank. The crab dip was fantastic and I loved the lobster roll. My friends both liked theirs so much that they boxed up whatever they could not finish! Kate was a fantastic server and made the afternoon even better,

Another great dining experience at Choptank. The team went above and beyond by noticing our anniversary was later in the week and comping a dessert. These subtle touches keep us coming back and recommending to others!

When a member of our party had an emergency and we had to cancel our dinner, manager Alexis Aguilar swept in with tremendous professionalism and empathy. Will definitely visit again based on the customer service alone.

The food was t nearly as good as this summer and our waiter tried hard but just didn't “get it”. One patron had food allergies and he had to go to the kitchen numerous times after she laid it out for him Oyster Rockefeller were huge and way too much spinach on top. Really too big to eat Came away pretty meh

My fiancé and I came to celebrate our 2yr anniversary. Chris, the manager, gave us a specific table and the service was the most attentive we've ever had. Despite how quick the service was, it never felt like they were hovering either. The food came out quickly and was absolutely perfect- especially the Brussel sprouts. Then, as the night was wrapping up, Chris gave us a complementary desert with two glasses of wine to celebrate our engagement. It made our night and will be a memory we look back on for the rest of our lives. I'm going to have my work cut out for me when we celebrate our first year of marriage! I highly recommend choptank to anyone wanting amazing service, beautiful views and to have a special night with your significant other.

Excellent soups. Loved the chopino - with very flavorful shrimp, lobster & scallops Very hearty fish & chips. Were Choptank excelled for us was in their desserts.. the warm chocolate chip cookie with salted caramel ice cream was fantastic as was the passion fruit creame brûlé was rich but heavenly. My personal favorite was the eggnog ice cream.
