Incredible Maryland style crab cakes and crab soup, perhaps the best in all of downtown Annapolis. Many other great food choices too. It really is that good. Friendly service as well. Recommended!

Visited from out of town and went on recommendation to experienc Maryland Crab Soup/chowder. It was absolutely delicious. However...... I was with a party of 7. If you have more than 4,dont bother going. We sat outside and wanted to move 2 of the small square tables together. The employee behind the bar REFUSED to allow us to move the table. I asked if it was against some ordinance/law. Was told the owner just doesn't like it. Employee was VERY rude. Employee 2 who waited on our group was fantastic. Excessively stupid that our group couldn't move the tables.

**AVOID THIS BAR AT ALL COSTS!** This was my first time back at this bar in over two years since moving away, and I should have trusted the horror stories I heard about the new management. I decided to give it a try while home for my 30th, but what a mistake that was. I used to frequent this place for the past ten years, and let me tell you, it has completely gone downhill. We weren't even inside for five minutes before getting yelled at by some rude staff member because my husband was wearing a backwards hat. The place was packed, with loud music blaring, so my husband didn’t hear the staff member at first. Instead of acting like decent human beings, THREE staff members suddenly surrounded him. And then, without any warning, one of them had the nerve to yank his hat off his head. Who does that?! When I stood up for him, they had the audacity to grab me by the arm—ME, a 4'11" woman, weighing 100 pounds, getting manhandled by three men twice my size. Thankfully, my cousin, who works as a bouncer and bartender at McGarvey’s, was with us and had to step in. The entire situation was ridiculous and could have easily been avoided if the bouncers had done their jobs properly and enforced whatever stupid hat policy they have BEFORE we even walked in. If these are the management’s policies, they need to get their act together and educate their staff better. I’m not letting this go. Legal action and a police report are being filed for the harassment we endured. This place is a joke, and I’ll never set foot in there again. Don’t waste your time or money on this hellhole.

The seared tuna spinach salad is unreal - amazing ratio of ingredients and flavors. The crab cakes were also delicious.

Dock St is consistently very good. They do a nice job with all their tuna dishes, generous portions good quality and cooked as you like! Go to place for fresh salads, too. The cream / red crab soup combo was great. Lump crab on top!

THE JOURNEY By Clara Keller

The drinks were great and the food was a heavenly delight , perfection in everything: seasoning, temperature, price, speed of service, both of the chowders were so good, and the young waitress was friendly and accurate. We highly recommend it , the prices are right for the amount of food and quality.

Not sure how this place has over 4 stars. The staff is rude, the food is average, and the drinks are warm. I would never go back. This is downtown Annapolis; you can find better places with better food and much friendlier staff.

They served me uncooked chicken and got mad because we sent it back. Then charged me for it. Looking at such a hole in the wall I can see why. I hope you use that change to upgrade. The food was awful.

Sad experience when paying:

The bartender screams "Dude, you gotta dial in your card's pin!" As I approach, I catch a glimpse of the amount of the check as he enters it in the payment terminal and it doesn't seem right. I ask him how much it is. He answers "Just dial in your pin". I ask again. He repeats "Dial in your pin, please". Silence. He finally says "22 dollars". I say that I only ordered a beer and a cider. He says "It's 10 dollars each". I say it is not. He goes back on the screen to the list of items on my check. There are three drinks. He takes one of them out and says "14 dollars, please".
