Solid local brunch establishment! Good variety of options and good portion sizes. Table service is friendly but not particularly quick. Lovely place for a low key meal with friends.

My husband and I tried this restaurant for breakfast this morning. Based on the reviews, I have seen that often times there is a weight to be seated, so we made sure to be there when they opened at 8 AM.

We were sat promptly and we're looking at the menu when people started pouring in. So, reviews were correct. I would definitely get there early or plan to wait.

The restaurant is very cute. It looks like a house and is decorated with different kind of art.

Our waitress was very friendly and personable. She brought us our coffee promptly and was back right when we were ready to order.

My husband ordered the feed the navy omelette. It's full of meat, like steak, Italian sausage, and bacon. He said it was very good and flavorful.

I kept it simple and ordered pancakes with chocolate chips. The pancakes are huge and they were not stingy with the chocolate chips.LOL

Overall, we were pleased with our experience. If you're looking for a quaint restaurant, with friendly staff and a unique menu, you should definitely give them a try!

The food wasn’t worth us going but I don’t know if this is every restaurant serving breakfast. The people were nice, welcoming and that was great. The food was just a disappointment. French toast was just bread because I could not taste that thing being dipped in batter. In our household we make it on proper brioche bread then dipped in the milk/egg/vanilla extract/cinnamon …(leaving that so the chef hopefully sees it and does that for the future customer). My kids didn’t even eat. It was just a waste of food. The waitress didn’t even ask “oh I noticed you practically left it all, was everything okay can I replace it for you?” ….. maybe people here don’t know any better.

We also ordered a garden omelette. The pepper were cube diced not finely chopped (if you care) and barely had any seasoning but salt did the trick. At least the ingredients were fresh and made as expected.

My husband ordered huevos rancheros were very basic. My husband says it was edible but not I guess we are used to going to nice breakfast places when we go out as we are more home made kind of people…. I didn’t think our expectations were that high.

We’ll try another place tomorrow since we are here visiting for a few days.

Service was great! Inside restaurant definitely has a sewage/mildew smell that is very unappetizing. Food was mediocre at best. Small portions and lacking in seasoning. Over easy egg with crunchy edges and burnt English muffin. Won’t be going back.

I adore Evelyns. So much so, I'm working my way through the menu to get to try everything. I have yet to try something I don't like. Their fries are some of the best I've ever had. Current favorite item would have to be their sweet potato biscuits and gravy, but there are lots of close runner-ups. Karli always takes such good care of me too. A really incredible server.

This place was such a disappointing disaster this morning. Service was bad, EVERYTHING so slow. When multiple people, at multiple tables are looking around with that WTF look on their face, you better buckle up. Not worth it. Go elsewhere.

We came for lunch and got a mix of lunch and breakfast. I had the sweet potato biscuit and gravy and it was sooooooo good. Highly recommend. Got fruit on the side and it was the best fruit selection I’ve gotten anywhere. Husband got the special, a southwest chicken panini, and enjoyed it. His Side of sweet potato fries were good. Service was solid (good job, Carly!) and the art everywhere is cool. Wasn’t very busy on a Monday.

Parking: Parking is along the street in a semi-residential area. Seems like a lot of options available.

Kid-friendliness: They had a coloring page for the kids. Seemed like a great spot to bring a family for indoor or outdoor dining.
