Gently tucked away from the bustle of Downtown Annapolis, Evelyn's offers a premiere family-friendly breakfast experience unlike no other. Let the eggplant statue (yes, you read that correctly) out front be your "northern star" to a home away from home ?Kid-friendliness: With both indoor and outdoor (during warmer months) seating options. Kids will love the art decorating the walls and the friendly staff. High chairs available upon request.

I was in the area for work and actually just popped in here for a cuppa coffee, not even hungry. While I was waiting on the coffee, I asked to look at a menu. I saw the sweet potato biscuits with gravy and had to order it to give a try. FANTASTIC! FANTASTIC! FANTASTIC!!! a wonderful place with a wonderful staff. I shall return..

Crowded when we were there at lunch time and the kitchen with short-handed so wait for food was quite long and the dishes were not served exactly as described in the menu. The noise level made it hard to carry on conversation. I think going for coffee in a small group earlier in the day or perhaps for a late afternoon snack would have been a better experience.

First time visiting restaurant so was really excited. Walked into the restaurant and sat at the bar. No one greeted me. There was another customer ahead of me who too was waiting for some time. After about ten minutes of waiting I had to alert the many staff members standing behind the bar of our presence to have our orders taken. I ordered my food and again had over a twenty minute wait. All the while my to go order was finished a while ago. Ugh. Was really expecting better.

Evelyn's never disappoints. The owner, Brandon, cares about his restaurant, his employees and his clients. He's the best! We've been treated with respect every time we visit. They have expanded, so the wait times will definitely decrease, if there are any at all.Friendly staff, fast service, and delicious food. We usually go for breakfast and the Feed the Navy Omelet, never disappoints. They prepare your food the way you asked it to be prepared. The soups are always delicious. I've had probably every soup on the menu. All of them top notch!

Nice selections of food, but nearly everything on the menu is extremely high in salt 1200-2000mg. I’m sorry but that’s not healthy for anyone with high blood pressure or heart condition.

Very nice and spacious restaurant. Food was good, nothing special. Coffee was absolutely not my thing. I had a egg salad sandwich without bacon, I guess the bacon adds a lot of taste and a salty touch wich was missing. But I would definitely recommend it!Kid-friendliness: Great kids menu, crayons and a menu to draw on!

The atmosphere was nice and cozy, but my home fries and tea were cold, and I wasn’t given silverware with my food and had to wait for it. There weren’t as many vegetarian options as I was hoping.

The magic of this restaurant is that they are still trying. The sausage links are the best in town and you can tell that they care about each and every ingredient. Eggs are cooked properly and the service is great.
