They don’t offer online ordering and don’t answer the phone so unfortunately I won’t eat there. They usually have good food.

Food is always good (tho not toasted). Service is as fast and good as they probably pay for. That said, I've never had bad service. I've visit this shop pretty frequently and they have had their toaster broken for probably a year at this point. The sandwiches are still really good despite the lack of toasting. But the atmosphere is hit or miss. Often in the evening you can tell they don't have enough staff to maintain everything through out the day. I went in once and nearly all the lights were off. Trying to save energy I guess but the back of the restaurant was dark and hard to see the lids, straws and utensils. With the 5 subs shops within a mile, there are other options that don't seem to be struggling like this one does.

This location is in Violation of Maryland State Law HB0340 by prohibiting Cash payments. By Maryland State Law, you are not allowed to only accept card payments. Fix this or else you will suffer the legal penalties.

Kinda mad, how they can portray themselves as they do then not take legal tender (cash). So when I do a hard labor job for cash and I do all the time, I can't get a sandwich here cuz my cash isn't good enough?? And if the excuse Is you've been robbed, why are your customers paying that price, why are we being punished cuz yall can't run ur store well enough to NOT have significant amounts of money laying around for someone to rob you and it devestate the business. Cash is legal tender, the fact I can't get an 10 dollar meal on my lunch hour makes me mad. The fact i killed half my lunch hour going to another business, cuz even tho i had a working card, that's some un-American crap right there.
Then i noticed their priorities are messed up, they care more about online orders then their actual customers standing in front of them...waited like 8 mins to get service and there was nobody in the place but me and the employees....this place deserves to go broke and I rarely ever spend my precious time typing BAD reviews... I don't like throwing people under the bus but darn this place plucked my last nerve today...made me so mad I'll never go back, gonna let all my people know too....that's ridiculous

Hound you for donations and when you don’t accept the employee made a condescending comment on how $.42 can save a life. Maybe they should be asking for donations to fix their toaster oven. I chose not to get food. I’ll never return to this location.

So it looks like they open when the "staff" open the door.....not when it says they're open. Lazy and unprofessional.....

On Thursday March 27, I walked in at 11:50 and the place was empty. Young lady pleasantly welcomed me. I noticed sign that said "no cash". Laughed, young woman, working the counter by herself, smiled said "yes, "no cash"," no opinion at all, just pleasant. From my order on, a steady line of customers. She pleasantly welcomed each as they entered and again was so pleasant to each customer. With each customer she went right to work on their order and called out each promptly. One customer did not have her card with her and had to wait while friend went out to car and she still remained sooo pleasant. She is an excellent employee and an asset to this store. And the sandwich was made exactly as I asked and timely. Great !!!

Standing outside their locked door 10 minutes after open. Guy behind the counter looked at me then looked away. Guess they don’t want business.
The place was completely empty and it took the guy working 20 minutes to make 2 subs. They were also out of American cheese and drinks. Next the sub was soggy and wet. This place is giving firemen a bad name. No idea how this location survives

Worst Firehouse Subs I've even visited. I should have read the reviews before eating here. The bread was stale, the meatballs tasted burnt, and the only option available from the freestyle Coke dispenser was lemonade. It couldn't even produce ice. So far, all the responses I've seen to negative reviews appear to be automated we-pride-ourselves-on-geat-service type messages.

The individual working by himself, his name tag said JB I came in to the store 10-14 around 11am and was greeted by the most professional and respectful individual, he made our food to perfection probably the best sub I’ve had from firehouse, if anything I recommend this employee for a manager position if not already. Highly recommend this location due to this employee and his attitude.
