Stopped in for breakfast on 3/16 and was told it was a 40-50 minute wait. We gave our name and phone number and were told they would text us when our table was ready. We sat in the waiting area the whole time, after about an hour we decided to check and see how much longer, the host told us they called our name already a long time ago. We were sitting in the same spot the whole time nobody ever called our name, he actually only came out once and called a name and it wasn’t us, also why are you even calling names when you told us you would text when the table was ready. At this point we were so irritated we just left. I will never return to this place again or any other location. The incompetence every where I go is so frustrating.

Our favorite place in Annapolis for breakfast and brunch. Lots of tasty, fresh options with a little twist on classics. Even the turkey sausage gravy and biscuits are some of the best I have eaten in Maryland (rare for anywhere north of Richmond). Specialty seasonal pancakes (cinnamon chip, lemon ricotta, pumpkin, etc.) are even a notch above the delicious year-round flavors.

So I came here on 3/11 after my wedding down the street at the courthouse. We usually go to the Laurel location but this was the closest one to us. We get there and are told it’s a 15 min wait for our party of 8 (5 adults 3 kids) after 15 mins of waiting I ask the host what exactly are we waiting for? When there’s tables open that clearly fit our party. Next to one of tables that could accommodate us was a party of 3 white women who were just talking after finishing their meal so I ask why can’t we sit there ? She proceeded to tell me she didn’t sit us there because it would be a “tight” space and she didn’t want us to inconvenience them ???? What she then does is sit us on the other side where a middle eastern party was sitting because apparently it’s okay for us to be a “inconvenience” to them but not the white women. Our server was amazing and he treated us like regular human beings who are paying customers and was extremely nice we have zero complaints about him or the food. The only reason we stayed was because I’m pregnant and was starving. The host left the worst taste in my mouth and I have never been openly discriminated against to my face like that. To my understanding this a family establishment. Clear to say that isn't the way I expected what is supposed to be one of the happiest days of my life to go. I did call and speak to the manger to report what happened.

Love First Watch! They are consistently wonderful. The food is always great, their drinks with health boost is phenomenal and words don't do justice when they make their million dollar bacon to spec!!!!

Veggie sandwich. EXCELLENT. Tom. Basil a bit spicy but still vgd. Other meal instead of hash browns got fried potato chunks. Eggs sunny side up way overcooked. Coffee great. Second time here this week. Good value will return.
