Her energy is so warm, inviting, and genuine that she instantly made us feel comfortable and at ease. She has such a natural way of connecting with people it truly felt like being welcomed by a friend. My boyfriend is type one diabetic, and she even got him to order a beer, which he never does!
Ally went above and beyond in every way, and her kindness, positivity, and professionalism did not go unnoticed. She made the entire experience not only enjoyable but memorable. You can tell she truly cares about what she does and the people she serves, and that makes all the difference.

Jk I love the brews too. Its not all IPAs like some places. And VERY fast service. (Run club joke... but seriously they're quick!)

First came here in 2020 after kayaking with my wife and looking for a place to have lunch. With COVID still on the mind of most people Forward still welcomed us in the outdoor seating section. I remember their fight to keep that outdoor seating and supporting them through it. As the years continued we appreciated Forward's can club, support of the bay, and support of the library system. The run club also supported the community and it's fitness goals. Moving away from the Annapolis area and such a great place that is Forward Brewing was tough and something I have yet to find again.
Do yourself a favor if you are in downtown Annapolis and looking for a nice little place for lunch or dinner and hit up Forward. They are much more than just beer and deserve your patronage.

Probably my favorite brewery - vibe, food and most importantly the beer. The open patio offers fire pits, nice ample room to have friends, pets and the whole family out to enjoy. A wide rotating selection of house brewed beer with great pricing per pint. The whole experience is a uniquely fun to visit and is just a 10 minute walk from the Annapolis Harbor. Parking in the area is on street and plentiful. I might have had at least 25 Oktoberfest and now I am onto their new seasonal offerings. The ownership and staff have been very friendly and are often on-site to connect and learn from. Great local business that I couldn't recommend more!

My boys all agreed that the crab roll was the best they’ve ever had! Outstanding
While the beer was cold and delicious, don't be alarmed by the diminutive size of the crab dip. Plenty of toasted bread pieces. Chances are you will run out of the pimento laced crab dip before you run out of bread. Friendly folks behind the bar.

I hosted a bridal shower here this spring and I cannot say enough great things about the staff! From Naomi who helped me plan and coordinate (down to recommending food and even the timing of when it should all come out), to Cherish who assisted us on the day of the event, everyone went above and beyond to make it a fun, seamless, and delicious day that went off without a hitch. It's a lovely, small venue that didn't need much decor, and the food and beer were fantastic. Highly recommend for small events!

Came for a beer while waiting on a table down the street. Beers were delicious and menu looked great so ordered some apps. Food was delicious too so ordered more and stayed for dinner. Finished with both desserts which were also excellent. Great casual family friendly vibe and welcoming staff. Highly recommend.
Rude staff. Managers weren’t present or helpful. I was denied entry with a legal ID that was not expired or fake. True discrimination. Don’t ever come here
