I am angry. $80 is a lot of money now. The food had no taste. The beignet had no flavor. The crab soup had no crab. The amount of food was paltry. The women inside the restaurant made me feel like a pain in the ass, never smiled or greeted me once and the only positive was getting more than one napkin with my order. I cannot recall having ever left a one star review before. If I hadn’t of prepaid for this abysmal food, I would have left it there and never spent the money. Attached is the bayou scramble meal. The whole entire meal. It wasn’t worth five dollars. Neither was anything else.

My husband and I have been to the Grumps location in Crofton several times and have always been pleased. So, when we were in the Annapolis area and wanted to go to breakfast, we figured we would try their Annapolis location.

We arrived just as they opened and we were treated immediately. The hostess gave us menus and explained we would be ordering at the register and then the food would be brought to us. This was something we were already aware of since they do the same in Crofton.

My husband ordered the biscuits and gravy and I ordered the banana chocolate chip pancakes.

Both of us found our food to be good. The coffee is also very good!

My main feedback is that the restaurant became very loud very quickly. I don't know if it's just because of the layout and shape of the restaurant, but we found it very difficult to have a conversation despite the restaurant not even being very crowded. It made the meal a little less enjoyable.

Again, the food and service was absolutely fine. However, if you're looking for a place to be able to enjoy a slightly more quiet environment and actually be able to hear the person you're with, you might want to go somewhere else.

Service could be a lot better but the food was sooo good. I’ll definitely be back and will make the drive instead of going to the Crofton location

Generous portions of fabulous breakfast options. I had an omelet. Cooked to perfection, and arriving at the table promptly, I was immediately taken by the presentation, colors, and juicy bacon aromas.
(Caveat, the accompanying photo is not the meal)

This is the fluffiest omelet in Annapolis! Elsewhere the omelets are flat.

First time. Ate some delicious biscuits and gravy. Biscuits were homemade and about as big as a small child. The missus had pineapple upside down cake pancakes. Three pancakes the size of hubcaps with homemade cinnamon butter. Yes, they had syrup packets that are probably going to take a few minutes off my life at some point but they tasted good with the pancakes and fit the breakfast diner vibe of the place.

We've been here a few times in the past and the food has never been anything to write home about but today it was absolutely horrible and it wasn't even cheap - we spent like $70 for two adults and a toddler (with tip because they make you pay before you eat). The orange juice tasted spoiled, the syrup was fake and full of high fructose corn syrup and natural flavors, the chicken looked like it came from the dollar store and the waffles had some type of maple flavoring in it. The omelette was at least somewhat edible. But, definitely will not be going here again.
