honestly I've never had their food but I'm giving them one start for there business etiquette. I applied for a job there, showed up a few times and asked about an interview. Eventually I realized I will never be contacted due to my skin color. Don't get me wrong tho the employees are nice for the most part but it's not a very diverse place but hey to each its own.

I had such high hopes for this small hole-in-the-wall restaurant, but it thoroughly disappointed. We ordered the chicken fried steak and eggs with grits and the Edgewood Benedict with crispy potatoes and a side of biegnets. The chicken fried steak was a pre-made frozen patty covered in what tasted like canned gravy served lukewarm - not good at all. The grits were salty and nasty, they tasted like they were made with last nights dishwater. The Benedict had a spoonful of mushy (NOT crispy as advertised) canned corned beef hash on each of the warm English muffins topped with an undercooked poached egg and a drizzle of canned hollandaise sauce. The potatoes were decent, but how do you mess up frozen potato cubes when you drop them in hot oil. The beignets... if you want a fried yeasty pastry covered in powdered sugar, this is your treat, BUT they are NOT beignets. They are more like cut up chunks of pillsbury flakey biscuits deep fried. Good, but not the Cafe Du Monde experience- at all. Service was ok, the ordering experience is interesting. You order at the counter and they give you a number that a pajama clad hostess assigns to a table with a dirty rubber dinosaur. You pre-pay (and pre-tip) and hope your service reflects the quality you tip for.... Overall I would not recommend and won't be going back.

This fun quirky restaurant is just my style. I was staying at a nearby cabin for the weekend, and the owners recommended it Perfect for breakfast with a warm and friendly staff. I highly recommend the pancakes they even offer smaller sized portions of everything! It is important to know that this is a counter seating restaurant (no table service). The unique seating and ordering system may throw off some people, but I actually really enjoyed it. Coffee is help yourself so you can pick your own mug and your own flavor of coffee. Impressed me most was the friendliness and efficiency of the staff. When the couple behind me left the restaurant, it took less than 30 seconds for the crew to clear their table and clean it for the next patron. This is definitely my new local favorite

I come here for the breakfast served all day option. They make a really good breakfast. I also like their coffee, many choices for coffee. It tends to be noisy around lunch time.
Food was good; coffee really good. Had the Huevos Rancheros with chorizo, biscuits and gravy and western omelette, crispy potatoes side. Huevos rancheros sauce was not what I was used to, chunkier and sweeter. Service was friendly. You order at the counter and get your own drinks, so not much interaction other than seating, ordering and picking up plates. Fun decor from the table numbers on toys to the random signage. The main negative is that the front door opens directly into the restaurant, so if you're sitting at a front table, you get a blast of cold air, if you go in winter, every time it opens, which is frequently. Would come again though, probably request a table further back :)

Hands down the best breakfast find EVER! Pick your own mug from owners mugs- signs for every mood and paint all over the floor! Friendliest people with great hometown vibes and very good breakfast! Highly recommend!

Meh! Likely won't visit this location again. From the less than friendly greeter to the dogs dining INSIDE (puke), to the filthy glass and sticky floor. I get it's supposed to be a dive, but they've taken the concept too far for my liking. I feel like I need a bleach bath.
