Me and my lady friend went to the restaurant for dinner and we wind up leaving we waited 30mins before anyone came over to serve us so we left the restaurant poor customer service the place should be shut down

I generally like the food here and have had many tasty entrees. The exception was the french dip. It was so bland and totally unappealing. You have to infuse that prime rib with seasonings and you need to slice it thinly. I left with the key lime pie which is always amazing.

This restaurant is impressive. What a great atmosphere for a classy night out with family, friends or an intimate date. The wait staff was very attentive and engaging upon entering until we left. Sagi aka Ziggy, our server, was knowledgeable, friendly and very helpful with choosing the perfect meal. For our appetizer we chose the salmon dip. Entrees my friend ordered the chicken (a half?) with loaded mash potatoes while I just ordered a classic burger and fries. We did not expect the serving sizes to be as huge as they were. We could have shared a meal but all in all, everything was fairly good. I would definitely go back again when in the area.

A Remarkable Dining Experience at J. Alexander's
I recently dined at J. Alexander's in Annapolis, and I was thoroughly impressed! The upscale remodel from the previous Gordon Biersch is very nice, they've created a mature and inviting atmosphere that enhances the overall dining experience.
The staff was incredibly professional and attentive and the food was delicious. I highly recommend trying the Hong Kong shrimp and the lobster roll; both dishes were flavorful and beautifully presented.
A great addition to Annapolis dining.

Went to celebrate a birthday dinner there. The server was excellent! The food was a bit pricey. The taste of the food was decent but not worthy of a 5 star. The atmosphere was typical for a restaurant of this type. Had visited the prior restaurant on many occasions and felt not much was done to give J Alexander its unique touch. I would try them again when in the area.
Parking: Because the location is in a shopping plaza, parking is challenging. We parked across the main road in front of another store a block away. With elderly people, it wasn't convenient.

The bartender Marissa makes the BEST espresso martini I literally have ever had. I am a martini conisuor and the martini glasses are full size..no Coupe..which I am not a fan of. And it comes with a side car to refill as you like. Not kidding..in Annapolis..best

J. Alexander's was a great dining experience. I enjoyed the special, Cajun shrimp and the Manhattan was excellent! I would definitely return again!
