Had a very great experience and the fact that J Alexander's waitress addressed me by my name the entire night was great. Myself and my wife enjoyed ourselves and the food

We had a wonderful experience at J. Alexander's. Staff was friendly and the food was great. I had the prime rib and you could've cut it with a butter knife. Had a great meal and look forward to going again soon.

Experience was good. I went on a Sunday after. Church wasn't crowded. Nice ambience great service great food. The coffee was absolutely amazing. Definitely a place I would recommend.

Finally a restaurant in my state I've been to the Cincinnati and Chicago location and Annapolis did not disappoint. Autumn was awesome and advice on food choices was top notch. Can't wait to come back

J. Alexander's has become a favorite. We've introduced several of our friends to it. Great options on the menu. Service is great. Presentation is beautiful. Start with the Avocado Bomb.

Highly enjoyed my 6th dining experience with family on 8 NOV 25 at J. Alexanders as our meals, cocktails & mocktails, coupled with the consistent service by Bill, plus the overall atmosphere was exceptional!🤩 Scheduling our dining time on Open Table was very easy, and we'll continue to visit J. Alexander as frequent loyal customers going forward. 👏🏽The Birthday Carrot Cake is a nice touch...and I wish they'd implement a loyalty program albeit we'll be visiting again soon! - N. Henson

We celebrated my husband's birthday. Disappointed that there was no carrot cake but our meal was delicious.

I booked a 4pm dinner today, Saturday, so we could eat and celebrate my partners birthday before any potential evening rush. They knew it was his birthday yet, out of dozens of open booths and tables, sat us allllll the way in the back right next to a large party of at least 12. Their table was full of water glasses and coats hung over the chairs but no bodies. I suppose they were walking around, using the restroom, taking pictures, whatever. I truly didn't think it would be so bothersome until they all eventually sat down. By this point we already got our drinks and ordered our food. The group was a fun and rowdy bunch but for the 2 of us NOT in their party, it was pretty obnoxious. We could not hear each other despite speaking loudly, nor could we hear the food runners speaking to us when bringing our food. I understand seating where servers sections are, but come on— the restaurant was over 75% empty! We thought many times of mentioning something but our server did not have any other table in our section and by the time he came over, our food had already arrived. We decided best was to eat quickly and leave because the food was good and the server was nice, but it was truly ruined by the noise. Also, the lamp/light above our booth was so bright that my partner had to wear his hat and hood the entire time. He offered his hat to me but unfortunately my head is too large for hats and my sunglasses were left in the car. The bright light did help us see the flies flying around our table and how dirty the plates were. 🤔😰 Anywho, why ask about any special occasions or celebrations if you don't plan on acknowledging?🤷🏻‍♀️🧐 I don't expect anything free but dang the only surprise was my forehead getting a tan under the bright bulbs and his French dip without any dip. 🙄🤦🏻‍♀️

Pretty good for a Saturday night. Last minute reservation was quick. Service was good. Server was polite and attentive. We had the Hawaiian Ribeye. It was so very good. I had the chicken pasta. Leftovers were equally good the next day. Drinks were good!

It was a nice first time experience. Our server worked hard to accommodate a couple of special requests.

We had a great dinner in a very comfortable atmosphere. The smoked salmon appetizer was amazing and is enough to be a light meal (we took half of our entrees home with us). The presentation, timely server and staff, and delicious food were all top notch. We will be back!

Dinner at 6pm, had reservation, restaurant was busy but not full. Service and food was great and we like atmosphere. Will be back.

Autumn was absolutely incredible. She insured that we received everything we needed before we could ask. Her ability to anticipate the customer needs is impeccable. Overall a wonderful experience.

Our server, Autumn, was terrific. Professional but friendly and very helpful. The food was very good, though we wished that the brunch menu had a bit more variety to choose from.
