This Mexican restaurant is our all time favorite! We had a wonderful meal! We ordered Scallops, shrimp, fish, and pork chop. Everyone at the table enjoyed their dinner. The atmosphere is cozy and lively. They also have the best guacamole too. The service is incredible. Our server was very friendly and attentive. Give them a try and you won't be disappointed!
It's dimly lit, and I'm not sure if it's atmospheric or gloomy, but it feels quiet. The menu has a wide variety of dishes, including Spanish, Mexican, and Peruvian dishes. The service was polite, kind, and made me feel comfortable. The taste of the food is not very sophisticated, but I think it is good.
We always have an excellent meal at Jalapenos. Tonight, we found a bottle of one of our favorite wines on the wine list (Honig). I ordered a cup of gazpacho and my husband had the black bean soup. Their soups are delicious and reasonably priced. I ordered the dinner special--a pan seared swordfish with vegetables. It came out on a sizzling platter.
