Was a fairly fun atmosphere. We had a good time for the most part due to our company. We constantly asked for certain items over and over and they wouldn't bother bringing them to us. It was also like pulling teeth to get them to bring us waters. They wouldn't even clear the table of old dishes that held raw foods. Then we notice the rat feces all over the bathroom.

If you like loud music, like to burn your own food, drinking bottled water, be served by unpleasant waiter squishing 14 people to the table confortably set for 12, then this place is for you.

We have been regulars to Jongro since it opened. In general, all have been an excellent experience, both service and food.
Tonite, we went as a family to celebrate a birthday. While it was crowded and that may have had an impact, our service was below average, with the waitress rarely making an appearance, forgetting requests, and appearing to be only able to single task. Additionally, she forgot the birthday request we made when originally seated. It was a very disappointing evening, especially considering what we have been accustomed.
While it had been a few months since our last visit, we also found out that Jongro has reduced the variety of sides we had grown fond of, in particular maccaroni salad and mashed potatoes..
The experience left us less likely to pick Jongro for our next Korean BBQ.

I have been going to Jongro since it opened because of how excited I was to have kbbq so close. I’m always driving to MOCO, VA or HOCO for good Korean food. There hasn’t been any issues until the last couple times. The service has been horrible. My daughter and I went end of August and it wasn’t busy at all but even then it was hard to get our waiter’s attention because he kept talking/hanging out with another member of the staff. At one point, our burner temperature was too high and I was trying to find him to turn it down. I said something to him about it and he gave a weird and off putting response. We went again last night but this time we had a party of 4. It was a really busy night so I understand it might take longer to get our food but the issue was that basically our waiter was paying attention to other tables and ignoring us. Even though he would pass our table, he wouldn’t stop by to ask if we needed anything else. I had to ask a few times for the same thing. Our table wanted to order more food but because of this we just ended up wanting our check to leave. I really want to like Jongro because I love kbbq. The past times we’ve went, we’ve had really great experiences but having two bad experiences in a row makes me not want to come back.

The food was okayyyyy, it was a little annoying tho how the waiter kept coming and cooking the food for us, I appreciate the help, but it felt like they were trying to rush us out

Arrived shortly after opening on Sunday, October 13th. Only one other table occupied.. We had to ask to be reseated since there was a huge gooey spill on the floor under the table. Floor was slippery at next table too. Bathrooms was unsanitary as well.

I’ve eaten Korean food for 24 years. I ordered ddukbbokki (their spelling). It was more like soup the rice cakes were over cooked splitting apart and slimy. Same with the fish cake. By far he worst weirdest version I’ve ever had. Because I had it delivered and didn’t feel like driving over or dealing with it I ate a small portion. And just dumped it out. I won’t be back. Sorry.

Husband went with his office and they enjoyed it for the first time they've had Korean BBQ. Was wondering why there wasn't squid on the menu though. Otherwise a fantastic meal.
