IM NOT SORRY. This is easily the best chinese locally by far. General Tso wings are a fun change! Crispy beef is tiny bit too sugary and onions should be thinner but it was exceptional. They have Meaty juicy wings! The food was fresh at the last minute ordered 22 mins before they close which surprised me. The rice wasnt old or dry which is my marker for careless quality.
Overall ---Flavors are really bold compared to others we try. Im not drinking water like ive been MSG'd. Congratulations chef for not putting much corn starch!!
5 stars!!
I can't forget to post this horrible race based experience!!
My husband and I stopped at this little spot for lunch on Saturday, March 1. The lady at the counter with (short hair) seemed pretty nice. She honored our lunch special, even though it was Saturday, so I was thankful for that.
I asked to use the restroom, so she handed me the keys to do so. Once we received our food my husband asked if they had any chopsticks, and the lady ignored him, just as she was going in the same direction as the chopsticks, so he asked again, just as she was walking away, she pointed in that direction and said “yea they are over there”. (We thought this was very interesting).
Long story short, the food was pretty good!
On our way out, my husband asked if he could use the restroom, but at this time there was an older man at the register counting the money. The man immediately replied “bathroom out of order”. So I'm like “I just used the restroom earlier and we're paying customers,so what do you mean it's out of order”. He continued saying it was out of order. The lady then came back up to the counter, so I asked her if my husband could use the restroom, so she handed him the keys. The lady and the man then began speaking loudly in their native language.
The man was too embarrassed to look up after that, because he knew that was bad businesses. I also told him, that was “bad business and not right and that I would definitely leave a review”.
“Black people” we definitely need to re-evaluate the way we are being treated bc of the color of our skin.
We pour way too much money into the Asian community, to be treated in such a way!!
Will never eat or spend my hard earned money where I'm not welcomed!
My boyfriend and I stopped by this place after the gym he got an egg drop soup and some chicken skewers. Later that night we decided we wanted it again for dinner.
The beef lo mein is the best I’ve ever had, the crab Rangoon‘s were a little too sweet for my taste, but still good. And the vegetable rice had really big chunks of vegetable in it but other than that really good.
Current ownership is doing great job with the meals. Very tasty, great value. As a result, demand has increased and wait times have greatly increased. My only advice to management is to quote realistic pick up time.
I live nearby so it's conveinent but I've defintely had better food. It it weren't around the corner I'd go elsewhere. Also, once I ordered food @8:30. There were supposed to send a text when it was ready, but it never came. I showed up @9:10 and the guy gave me a hard time bcz they close @9:30, 20-minutes later. Huh?
The restaurant was clean. People at checkout were nice. Food wasn’t too bad (it could’ve been better tho)
You pay $1.50 extra for fried rice and get rice with NOTHING but soy sauce. Very disappointing! Food is great otherwise but are you joking you cannot give me some vegetables and onions and garlic?

Had friends in and we ordered one main course and a couple sides for pick up. When we got home we found they didn't include the main course; called them and they promised a refund for the main course, but had to take the folks out elsewhere as a couple sides does not make a meal.
Joy Luck 2 use to have good food and great customer service, ate there weekly, or more. Now, not so much; foods ok, but the service, especially when THEY make the errors - sucks.
3 out of the last 4 orders were messed up - all blamed on the 'printer' - after months I'd have thought the problem printer would have been replaced, instead of losing customers.
Time to find a new carry out, they've lost a long time customer.

WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THIS STORE AGAIN AND WILL BE SURE TO ADVISE EVERY DEPARTMENT IN OUR BUILDING TO BEWARE OF THIS PLACE!!!!! AS A GROUP ORDERING LUNCH WE SPEND OVER $70.00. FOOD WAS COLD AND OF POOR QUALITY, NOT TO MENTION THEY CHARGE YOU TO UPGRADE TO FRIED RICE AND STILL GAVE US WHITE RICE. WHEN THE ISSUE WAS BROUGHT TO THEIR ATTENTION, THEY FELT LIKE THEY WERE DOING US A FAVOR BY ADDING A EXTRA BAG OF THEM DRY CRAB RANGOONS, INSTEAD OF THE 2 ORDERS OF SPRING ROLLS WE DID IN FACT ORDER. THEN HAD A NERVE TO ASKED FOR THE EXTRA CRAB RANGOONS BACK WHEN I ASKED ABOUT REPLACING THE FOOD THEY FORGOT TO SEND WITH OUR ORDER. SOME LADY KEEP ARGUING WITH ME ABOUT WANTING THE FREE FOOD BACK LIKE SHE WAS GONNA BE ABLE TO USE IT. NEVER RETURNED WITH MISSING FOOD AND THEY AGAIN PROCEEDED TO ARGUE WITH ME, NOT COMMUNICATING CLEARLY FOR ME TO UNDERSTAND. CO WORKER REQUESTED REFUND FOR MISSING FOOD AND THEY ACT LIKE THEY DIDN'T WANT TO DO THAT!!! WILL BE CALLING THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT BASED ON THE PRIOR REVIEWS JUST TO MAKE SURE THEY ARE DEALT WITH CAUSE THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE!

The food was pretty bland. We ordered shrimp fried rice and chicken lo mein - both of which lacked much flavor. Prices are fair, so willing to give it another try.

We ordered a bunch of different items on a Monday night and although we got full, the quality of the food was subpar. The "fried rice" was absolutely not quality.. There was no egg, peas, scallions or anything that made it quality, honestly it looked like straight brown rice.. The Crab Rangoons were very hard and rubbery. The Generals Tso's chicken was terrible with small pieces of chicken that was 75% breading. All in, we spent $45 and the only reason we ate it was because we were starving and it was too late to cook something at home.

Tried to place an order for dinner. I ordered a wonton soup, but asked the man if he could put the soup and the wontons in a separate container. I have to drive 20 minutes to get home, and the wontons will get mushy. Every other chinese restaurant I've had food from has never had a problem with my request. The main issue isn't even that he refused, but the fact that he was nasty about it. I spoke to him nicely. He didn't have to be nice, but he certainly didn't have to be mean for no reason.
