Ken's Creative Kitchen

You need to work with Ken's!! We hired Ken's for both our 100-person welcome party and our 120-person wedding and we were blown away. The food was divine; the presentation was beautiful; the service was excellent. Working with Katie in the months leading up to the wedding was also fantastic -- she was communicative, flexible, and patient with us. We also did all of the table settings (tables/chairs, linens, plates, glassware, etc) through Ken's and couldn't have been happier with how that turned out, too. Maybe most tellingly, every other wedding vendor we talked to spoke extremely highly of Ken's -- they are simply the best.

We hired Ken's for our wedding and we had a great experience and even better food! Katie was super helpful and very knowledgeable about not only food but also rentals and wedding cakes which Ken's will order for you. She also recommended a liquor store and coordinated delivery. We had numerous guests with dietary restrictions that they were able to accommodate without issue. The service during dinner was fantastic, the servers really paid attention to us and the guests and we got multiple compliments on the service that Ken's provided and the friendliness of their staff. Now, about their food. They have a wide variety of options to choose from and not one of them was anything short of delicious. From the oyster bar, to the cocktails, to dinner, and dessert, everything was amazing. The guests loved all of their meals. If you are thinking about hiring Ken's as your caterer, just do it!

October 5th we had a Friendship Celebration of 21 friends and family at our home in Annapolis.

Out of all the vendors we tasted for our wedding day, Ken’s Creative Kitchen was in a league all of its own! Everything was restaurant quality and absolutely delicious. Katie was fabulous to work with and worked with us to find a menu that fit our vision & budget. I loved her "can do" attitude, she always offered suggestions and said "we can do that". Whereas other vendors I spoke to made it seem like a chore. Day of, the staff was absolutely fabulous. All the guests raved about the food (especially the crab cakes), the drinks and how attentive the staff was. At the end of the night they even helped load the leftover liquor and decor to our vehicle. 11/10 would recommend!

We were fortunate to have Ken's Creative Kitchen cater and serve the food at the recent St. Mary's Ryken benefit gala. The food was outstanding, both the crab cake, and roasted beed tenderloin mains. The staff were courteous, competent, and attentive! Our entire table all echoed these sentiments. Thanks to Kathi, the event lead and the entire staff, especially those at table 30!

Ken's is the place to go for excellent service, delicious food and attention to detail. Ken & team took our vision of a bunch of somewhat random foods and brought it into a cohesive menu that our guests are still raving about. They cleaned up and packed up the leftovers for us. Ken also handled all of the rental equipment, figuring out what dishes, serving where and how many were needed, taking an extra item off our to do list. Katie and the other staff at Ken's Creative Kitchen were amazing to work with. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The servers were very polite, friendly and helpful. In addition to the fabulous food and drinks, they provided the tables, chairs, linen and china. I highly recommend Ken's Creative Kitchen! I just wish I had more pictures of the delicious food.

We got married at Annapolis Maritime Museum on 5/29/22 and got so lucky with booking Ken's team for our special day! The whole experience of working with Ken's Creative Kitchen was absolutely flawless. During wedding day, our guests commented on the incredible food throughout the evening, and we almost didn't even want to go dance because of how good the crab cakes were. The appetizers were also out of this world. Beyond the food, the service of Ken's team was amazing. They could not have been more flexible, responsive, friendly, and professional. Kathi, in particular, went above and beyond. She made sure that we had appetizers (saved a platter just for us!), made sure we had drinks, and was totally devoted to making sure we were well fed and had a great evening. She was spectacular!! Leading up to the day, Ken answered countless questions for us and was exceedingly patient and supportive during our planning process. He was not only supportive but also very informative and gave helpful tips and advice for us to consider. He knows the ins and outs of the wedding planning process and how to create a smooth, wonderful wedding day. The whole experience of Ken's Creative Kitchen was incredible and we consider ourselves so lucky to have discovered them. This should be your top choice! I have been a huge Ken fan for nearly 30 years when he catered a little anniversary garden celebration for my landscape business. He came in his chef's whites and cooked and served in my very modest beach cottage. At that party he held my new baby son, Ryan. When Ryan got in engaged in June 2020 I hired Ken and company to do a very small intimate party for just 10. It was amazing (see photos in blue). Our in-laws to be, were so impressed that they hired him to cater the entire destination weekend wedding at The Brittland in Chestertown. It was no small task! Friday they catered my rehearsal dinner on the river front in MD flag colors...see photos. Grilled meats, lovely greens, strawberry shortcake and cold beverages under the stars. It was so perfect! Then he did the wedding the next day. 175 guests...the food was out of this world and staff and service perfect in every possible way. In fact, impeccable. The following morning he catered a beautiful brunch. I could gush for hours about his staff, food, professionalism and ease in working with. This is your team! He knows what to do...so just let them do what they do and relax and enjoy your event while being served and watched over. Cheers!
