Service was great. Food was ok. Ambience was terrible. Low lights, no decor. It felt like we were in a hotel conference room that had been set up with some tables. Picked the restaurant for the view but the view was of a construction site on a parking lot. While the service was great we will try somewhere else next time.
Great location meet up with friends while visiting Annapolis for the day. We were seated at an outdoor table with a great view. Our server was very knowledgeable and friendly. Food and drinks were excellent! Would definitely return.
Hosts were less than friendly and didn't provide menus. The whole restaurant was pretty much empty and they tried to sit us in a corner, next to construction and on top of another party. Appetizers came out at the same time as the food. Ordered a lemon chicken dish and it was covered in mustard (not listed on the menu as an ingredient). Everyone was finished with their food by the time the order was recooked. Fish and chips tasted hard and like a fish stick. Overall the food was poor. Our server was very nice and attentive which is the only reason we didn't leave.
The food took a long time to come out. Some of the dishes were bland and the drinks were not very good. Ordered a medium well steak and it was wayyy overcooked.
This is not the best food in town. That's my only real critique. I spent way more money here than anywhere for the most mediocre food. Crab cake was fine, small. The only other note I'd give was that the teenager host boys are incompetent. For a restaurant this nice? It was a rough start. We got there in the pouring rain and the place wasn't that busy. All the boys were watching a fight on TV instead of greeting us. Once they did and I told them I had made a reservation, they took 20 minutes to get a table set up for us. Super weird when we walked in only to see that the place wasn't mostly empty with plenty of tables. The service was good even though they were busy. Our server was nice enough. What was really special was that our server got my best friend a birthday treat. We were there to celebrate her birthday and engagement. I asked if they could send something special and at first my server said they didn't do that anymore. I work in a nice restaurant and birthday and other gifts are a big thing for us. So I was taken aback that a nice seeming place like this wouldn't do that for us after spending so much to eat there. But our server came back and said “I talked to the manager and she is going to do that for you tonight”. So nice of him to ask right away on our behalf and he even let me choose. It was sooo nice of them. They even wrote happy birthday on the plate for her. That saved the meal for me. It really meant so much.
Have eaten here several times over the years, and Latitude 38 continues to offer great food, service and ambience.
We reserved for dinner on the evening of July 4th and there was a good amount of space for our family of 6 even with stroller for our 6-month old and the views are fantastic. Calamari and mango crab stack appetizers were amazing but we had to ask several different servers several times to get plates, silverware, and napkins. Entrees were pretty good but we had ordered blackened chicken pasta for the kids and it would've been nice for server to inform us that the chicken was very spicy. Also, the fries that came with entrees we ordered were on the firm slightly undercooked side. The overall experience was pleasant, but the servers could work on the attention to detail as an area of improvement.
We chose Latitude 38 because it was right there on the docks and we timed it so we would be finished around the time of the July 4th fireworks. When we got there we were placed at a table toward the back but it was really warm back there and the fan above us was broken. Hayes was our server and he worked it out with a colleague to love us and remain our waiter. That was much appreciated right off the bat. Hayes continued to serve us well with good recommendations and friendly attitude. He refilled my soda even before I had to ask for another. The food was excellent. All 8 of us ordered something different and we all enjoyed our dishes. Apps were really good too. The ONLY downside was the dessert area downstairs was so busy that we could not order ice cream or any of their yummy sounding milkshakes. We had to go downstairs and stand in line and order like we were walking off the street. We were told we could bring it back upstairs and eat it at our table. But the line was crazy long so we paid our bill and walked around for a bit then got in the dessert line when it shortened right before the fireworks. After standing in line for 15-20 mins, we got to the counter and was told they were not making milkshakes that night. If we had known that before getting in line we would have skipped dessert. But because I put so much time in waiting, 3 of us ordered ice cream and it was good. But we were disappointed. But, regardless of the dessert fiasco, the dinner was great and Hayes was awesome.
The food was delicious, our waiter was outstanding. He recommended a wine that was great. Even though it was hot outside, we enjoyed sitting on the upper level. The fans provided a nice breeze. After lunch we had wonderful milkshakes. Will definitely return again.
At no fault of our waitress, but they had her working a large party on the 3rd floor while waiting on our table. Management needs to do better, or her coworkers should have stepped in and gave a helping hand. As it seems we were the only table she had on the second floor. This made wait times long. We asked another waiter for assistance, instead of them saying how can I assist you, the went and got her. This is poor customer service. Other than that, food was great.

Dined on Father's Day and had brunch. The food was good. The ambiance was beautiful where we were seated. Ryan was a very pleasant waiter.
If you are looking for the worst service in Annapolis this is your choice!
Food was cold, slow and incorrect. Management was rude and nonexistent.
Spend your money elsewhere!
Very poor service. Waited 30 min for appetizers over a hour for our food. The manager didn’t even say he was sorry for the wait but explain they were really busy. Everyone around us got their food before we did and they came in after us. I was so upset by the time my food came I had lost my appetite. Will never come back here again.
I pointed at the menu and said the order twice and they still forgot my order?! The food wasn’t very good either. Would not recommend.
Crab dip and lobster roll were outstanding. Our group also liked the crab legs, salmon, ribs, and mahi mahi entrees. Service was great too (thank you Andre). Will continue to dine here.
