I read the reviews before we went. The shrimp and crab appetizer was tasty. The arugula spinach salad was the biggest portion served. Our waitress was great to help us navigate the descent sized portions. She steered away from the Bison burger because it was very small. We saw it delivered to adjacent table and it was very small, I ordered the Sirloin cooked medium. Half was medium and the other half was raw. 4 oz portion of steak. Excellent service. Delicious craft cocktails with a nice play on some of the classics. Loved everything from beginning to end. We did grilled oysters with chorizo, avocado tacos, sirloin, mussels - each dish rivaled the rest with a flavor punch great textures all beautifully presented. For dessert we tried the banana bread pudding & seasonal cobbler with a light almond flour topping. Loved both - cobbler could have used a bit more topping and ice cream but I think the blueberries...
Absolutely loved the Matchbook Cabernet Sauvignon. Also, very much enjoyed the Fried Brussels Sprouts, & the Shrimp & Crab Cocktail. The bar's creative Strawberry Fields (a vodka cocktail) was also very good (refreshing, & strong 😊). Excellent service & ambiance, too. And it's just a 5-minute walk down the street from my hotel. Definitely recommend.
