We dined here for my birthday. The charming and romantic atmosphere was perfect. Our attentive server provided just the right amount of service. The steak was a wonderful cut, perfectly medium-rare, but lacked seasoning and flavor. Adding salt improved it. I’d recommend a ribeye if you go here.

Lewnes is our go to place for dinner when visiting Annapolis. The food and service is outstanding. This trip was no exception, however, our reservation was for 7:30 and they did not seat us until after 8 pm. The bar area was completely full so it was a tight squeeze with people waiting to be seated.

Another absolutely perfect visit. This is an old-school steakhouse in the best possible way. Every item is perfectly cooked, presented, and served. The wait staff are experts in recommendations, engagement, and banter. My steak, as always, was cooked exactly to order and the flavor was simply sublime. This was my third visit and will certainly not be my last!

I frequent Lewnes quite often. Last night was disappointing as my 13oz filet mignon needed to be sent back to the kitchen two times because it was undercooked. Not offer to remove it from the bill or comp a drink. Just a token brownie sundae.

An upscale "local" Annapolis steakhouse. White jacketed waiters provide friendly and efficient service. The prime meats are prepared perfectly and the sides a meant for 2 to share. The wine list is pretty extensive and a bit on the pricey side with many/most of the well known California Cabernet and French Bordeaux wines. Somewhat of an "expense account" restaurant but also a place for a "special night out".

Celebrated our 25th anniversary. Outstanding as always. Fresh local oysters, bone-in filet was amazing and cooked perfectly. Our waiter Dave was knowledgeable and attentive. Perfect evening.

This was our first visit to Lewnes' Steakhouse. Trust the reviews, it was everything that was shared with me. It's one of the finer steakhouses I've dined in the DMV. Matt, our server was spectacular. His service, history of the restaurant and the family of owners, and genuineness made the special celebration a memorable evening. We look forward to returning.

My wife and I don't get much time off together. Things lined up well yesterday on our anniversary. So last night I googled last minute open reservations for dinner and Lewnes' popped up! We made the right choice with a wonderful meal and superb waiter, Marco! Thank you!
Our waiter was phenomenal and as he was a bartender covering the floor had a wonderful contribution to our wine selections. He was personable and efficient and the food was outstanding. Steaks cooked to perfection and meal paced like clockwork. Would have given the restaurant a 5 star rating, except for the attitudinal bartender at the front door who gave us a super poor first impression. Thrilled that once we left the front area the evening was sheer perfection. Maybe enter through the kitchen out back next time?! 😂
