Everything we had was phenomenal. This place is small but mighty. It doesn’t look like much from the outside but give it a try, you will not regret it!

We were a group of 10 seniors out for our weekly Thursday day of fun and a good meal. We stopped by Main and Market on a suggestion from a friend. June, the manager, gave us special attention and made sure our orders were correct and we wanted for nothing. The wait staff and receptionist all chipped it to make Main and Market an experience for us to add to our list of great places to visit and have a meal.
Wheelchair accessibility: Front door to the cafe is only steps away from parking which we were able to take advangage of since a few of our senior us a cane.

We had Main and Market cater some of our daughter's wedding from the rehearsal dinner, to day of meals to the appetizer hour. The food was fantastic and the staff awesome. April did a great job with suggestions and coordinating everything for us. The driver was super nice and punctual. HIGHLY Recommend this place and working with April Haynes.

This just became my new favorite spot to frequent in Annapolis. Their desserts are to die for. The service was also top notch. Make sure to ask for Ashley whenever you come in... she will go above and beyond to meet your expectations. Ashley was professional and efficient when it came to serving my table.

We had an incredible experience with Main and Market from the start. We started with a 120-person wedding and squished it down to 74. Kim was the most patient, kind, and helpful vendor and was such a savior during so many parts of the planning process.
I did all of the initial wedding planning until I caved and got a day-of planner 3 months before our wedding date (who was also recommended by Kim and a DREAM to work with). Kim walked me through overall catering needs, logistics of everything from recommended number of food options for cocktail hour, reception, and after-party down to how to arrange the bar and pros/cons of bringing in more vendors for outside food or not. She never made us feel like she had any other intentions but to just genuinely give us the honest truth about what we were getting ourselves into with each decision. And thank goodness, because doing this all on my own for the first 9 months was A LOT and there was so much I would have never even thought of.
She was so responsive and patient with my numerous menu changes and indecisiveness on menu, flatware, and linens. She made sure we had awareness of all guest allergies and food restrictions so our menu was safe for everyone and WOW were we blown away by the options. Food tasting there was SO fun and one of the highlights of my and my husband's experience during the planning process. Beyond the food being absolutely delicious, they were so generous with letting us sample options we were deciding between and let us have creative direction where needed. Our favorites were bringing a breakfast dessert to our reception dessert and making them personal-sized for a buffet-style dessert. We had so much fun picking flavor options and truly making this our own, from everything down to the design on our cake.
We've been to plenty of weddings where the food dries out or isnt cooked enough or just wasnt as good as it seemed to be when the couple did their tasting, but O M G!!!!! The food was amazing. Presentation was beautiful for every meal and their staff was so fun. We don't love when staff pretend they're invisible at weddings because we want everyone to have a good time and feel like they're part of the fun and they were all SO sweet, complimenting us, saying how fun the night was and just being such a positive energy in the room. It was so fun to pass them and see them all genuinely smiling and seeming excited. We were so grateful for the experience from start to finish.
We will 700% recommend this team to anyone looking, weddings or not, and use them for any future events we need catering for. Thank you, Kim and your whole team for all you did. We are forever grateful.

My husband and I just ordered two BLT burgers--his with cheese, mine with avocado and on a bed of lettuce instead of a bun. Instead each box had a naked burger in it sitting on a piece of lettuce and a slice of tomato, and a slice of onion. One had cheese. No bacon, no avocado--none of what we ordered at Main & Market to get. Nearly $40 for 2 naked hamburgers and fries.
Ok, they got the fries right.
I called to get the order amended. After spending too long on hold, I called again. They put me on hold again, so I gave up. They didn't want to talk with me.
They're a nice place to eat brunch, but if you have food allergies
or access issues, or want any change from the regular menu, don't get takeout. We've called before going with our Mom to because she doesn't get around too well. The staff didn't want to bother.

We are Military now retired to Annapolis. We have enjoyed much of it's diverse dining. As such, we try to briefly review the first visit to each. Tuesday 9/10/24 we visited the Main and Market for lunch. The atmosphere was very casually comfortable. The hostess was able to seat us right away, with a waitress immediately ready to discuss menus. To be brief, my required topics of evaluation always covers five areas of all food service facilities. The first is always the service. In this area the general manager Mr. Lloyd E. Dunlap-Pampuro has a very professionally trained and managed staff. They cover well all duties of support. The second area is that of the chef. We agreed that we have had none prepared better throughout our many different Annapolis meals. I will combine my last three categories of meal quality, quantity and pricing. Most individuals in dining out focus most heavily on these three areas. I won't go into detail about our menu selections other than to say the choices were difficult with so many tasty selections. The quantity was ample and priced well for a luncheon. The quality prepared by the executive chef Mr Morgan Cain was so delicious that now Main and Market is on our personal primary list and a MUST-TRY for all other folks.

We have had Main & Market cater two events for 25-35 ppl @ our home. Both times, I found M&M very easy to work with; they were communicative with excellent follow through. Their prices are very reasonable. The wait-staff were all prompt, personable and helpful. The presentation was quite nice as well. My issue, this second time, was the food—which was disappointing. Crab balls were overly salty (which were perfect for our first party); gazpacho was oddly sweet; salmon was over-done as was chicken. The desserts were delicious (their lemon squares are melt-in-your-mouth amazing); the ice-cream ran out, however, before everyone had some and I had to run out to get more. We had so many leftovers! Unfortunately, no one wanted to take any home (this time, I thought to ask for to-go boxes—the first time, I didn’t, because any caterers I used in the past brought disposable containers for leftovers). This is small, but I wish M&M used paper containers instead of plastic clamshells. This may have just been an off-day, but in terms of the food, I was disappointed. And, of course, one uses a caterer for ease and for food that impressed, but while the process of working with M&M was seamless, I was not happy with what was served. Everything looked beautiful—they organized the tables, linens & tableware (and the florist they use did a gorgeous job).

I have probably been to Main & Market (once known as Main Ingredient) 250+ times in the last 18 years. It is my "Cheers"--a go-to place where most people know your name, give you top drawer service, and make you feel welcome every time you walk in the front door. It has one of the best all-around menus in Annapolis and a world-class bakery case (my only complaint is that after a kitchen/bar renovation, they STILL don't offer ice cream even though they have cakes, pies, bread pudding, and cup cakes that plead for "a la mode"). The portions are satisfying and cooked to perfection; their weekly specials are tasty and innovative, and they have a regular weekday evening deal--my favorite is prime rib night on Thursdays. My favorite waiter and a mainstay of their service staff is Russell, who appears every time with ice water, cut lemons, and a pitcher in the event I am looking extra thirsty. For those of us who live on the Annapolis Neck peninsula, we're lucky. For those who live on the other side of town or who are just driving through, Main & Market is well worth the drive.

And Russel and Rosa too. They see me do the old man shuffle across their store front and have my cocktail ready when I arrive.
It is my "go to" place right before recital on Open Mic Night to have a drink to ward off the jitters and lubricate my throat
Thanks, I think i have lavished enough compliments for now; except mention: bring back "Spiced Ice Tea" it was Vicki's favorite

We had the pleasure of dining at your café this past Thursday night, and wanted to share my wonderful experience. The Prime Rib dinner was excellent, but what truly made the evening special was our waiter, Russell.
From the moment Russell approached our table with a warm smile and introduced himself, we felt genuinely welcomed. His friendly demeanor and attentiveness were remarkable. He took the time to point out new items on the menu and ensured we had everything we needed throughout our meal.
Russell’s exceptional service and great personality made our dining experience amazing. I highly recommend that you do everything you can to keep him on your staff, as he is undoubtedly an asset to your business. I hope you will take the time to let Russell know that a customer wrote this complimentary review about his outstanding service. He truly deserves the recognition.
Thank you for a delightful evening, and kudos to Russell for his excellent work!

We walked in the front desk area and waited there for a good 3-4 minutes before someone asked us if we needed any help which was weird since there was barely anyone there. One of the waiters was playing with his hair the whole time with his back facing us, plus the women at the bar were staring the whole time and not helping us to get seated. Once we were seated and played our orders, the "hair playing" waiter started talking about politics in the background so loud was so uncomfortable that we really wanted to make us leave but we wanted to try out the food so we just stayed and just tuned it out. The food wasn't good. There was more pico de gallo than rice in my wife's rice bowl and my burger was bland except for the massive red onion that overtook the taste in their signature burger. The sweet potato fries were slightly burnt with my burger. The overall experience wasn't good and will avoid this place whenever we travel through this area while on vacations.
