We could not have had a better time at Market House. The place was SLAMMED because it was the night before the Military Bowl but the staff couldn't have been more incredible. Our server Katie was fantastic. Give that girl a raise. The food and drinks were delicious and came out quickly despite the crazy crowd. Our table had the crab dip and fried pickles, shrimp po boys, salmon, and crab cake, and they were all absolutely incredible.
Food was terrific. However, when we booked here, we didn't realize this was a bar. The noise level was ridiculously loud.
Great oyster stew and with the Thai seasoning it was a delicious twist on your traditional oyster stew. Quite Christmas Eve lunch and easygoing bartender!
My group of friends and I chose to dine in at the Annapolis Market House about a week ago following the Chocolate Binge Fest on West Street. Service was quick, prompt, and professional as they were able to accomodate to our group (and a last-second time change to the reservation). The view with Ego Alley outside the window is stunning and relaxing. These are the waterside atmospheres that I love to be around. There's a good selection of draft beers that I'd be willing to explore further (I had the Italian Pilsner). The food was also excellent as we took down crab dip and I enjoyed a hearty Rockfish Po Boy with fresh cut fries. Overall, a great experience and I'd loe to come back, try some more drinks, and even explore the Secret Spot pizza one day. I can't wait to come back!

MARKET HOUSE 🦪 Naptown Lunch Redemption
Still sweating out the sins of O’Leary’s, rolled into Market House looking for salvation — found it in a frosty Maine Lunch that baptized my bloodstream clean.
Joe at the bar? Surgeon with a spatula. Yanked the bun off the oyster po’ boy, served it basket-style with boardwalk fries. Off-menu like a backroom deal. Didn’t flinch. Just fixed it.
Loud? Hell yes. Sounded like a crab boil inside a pinball machine. But when the food slaps and the staff’s dialed in, who gives a shit?

This isn’t ambiance dining — this is recovery dining. Naptown style.

We had a group of 10 during Midnight Madness. Our table was ready, the service was great, and the food even better! The owner was there and made sure everything went smoothly. We highly recommend and will return often.
What an amazing experience! The seafood (spiced shrimp, roasted oysters, shrimp/lobster omelette, and lobster board) was DELICIOUS! Drinks (bloody Maria) were good and service was top-notch (Mackenzie was phenomenal)!
We had a large group and they were able to add to our table and accommodate are extra friends.
Izzy was our server and super friendly and attentive. The crab dip was delish and the fried pickles were the best we've ever had. Spicy mango margarita was really good too. We split fish and chips and it was good.
I was not really knowledgeable on the Annapolis food scene prior to making the reservation. Looked funkier than it actually was. We sat outside, which was fine, but when I checked in they seemed a little clueless. Unbeknownst to us, there was a private event inside, taking up the entire restaurant, inside. Luckily it was a nice night and not raining. The food was ok. Our server was very nice, considering the crowds. Probably would not opt to go back there again, should we ever find ourselves back in the area.

Terrific spot in quaint, downtown Annapolis. Water, cool boats, great neighborhood and inly 2 blocks from Gate 1 of the USNA.

We were seated outside, waited for 20+ minutes for service. No service, a menu not to our liking so we left.
Great food. Great atmosphere.

I had the scallops. They looked great but upon tasting them there was a horrible flavor of chemical/fuel. The waitress took them back and I thought I would be safe replacing the order with a burger. When the burger came, I picked it up to take a bite and a mixture of blood and grease filled the bun and dripped on my plate. My friend had fish and chips and her meal was also overcooked and inedible. The service was great and we tipped our waitress well for her patience but a restaurant should be primarily represented by its food. I would not recommend this restaurant

Nothing was special here other than the location. The crabcake was more cake than crab, the crab soup was basically Campbells Hearty soup with bits of what we assume was crab, the crab dip was good but nothing special. The peach ginger mocktail was basically just club soda. The poke bowl was just salad with a scoop of raw fish and a sad scoop of rice. All edible and clean. The entrees were delivered within 5 minutes of the appetizer. All of the employees working looked to be under 21, although they were sweet and trying their best. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else without the view.
