I have been a patron at McGarvey's for years. I love your food and service. However, first time I have a complaint. I was anxious to try the crab balls, as pictured in your menu. Although they weren't horrible, they looked nothing like the picture on your menu, very disappointed. I expected pieces of white crab meat and we got very crusted, fried little round balls. Very cool bar, good atmosphere, loud and crowded but that’s to be expected. Good food, skip the dip here and go to the Annapolis Market House, however, Clam Chowder here is very good!
Was recommended this by a local co-worker. We drove 45 minutes to come to this place and boy did it not disappoint! We ordered the crab wontons, oysters rockafeller, clams casino and the crab dip. I also had the Maryland cream of crab soup. Everything was super good. The soup had good flavor but I didn't like the fact it was thick like pudding. To each their own though.
