Great historic restaurant in downtown Annapolis, in an amazing location right by the water. The menu has a good combo of seafood and non seafood options all reasonably priced. The food was delicious and the service was very good. The only caveat is that the restaurant closes earlier than what is posted based on demand of how crowded the streets are at the time, and because the restaurant is so old that there was a roach on our table. Otherwise the atmosphere inside is very cozy with a fireplace and bar making it perfect for date or group outings. Very solid choice especially for its location right at the Annapolis waterfrontWheelchair accessibility: Half the upstairs tavern appears accessible only by stairs

Middleton's was great with a last minute group of 30 people. They were able to accommodate us in a side room and our server was amazing. We had wonderful, quick service and the food was good. Middleton's saved the evening for an important celebration.

The food, my grilled Ceaser salad wrap, was also decent. That -- is about it. I'm usually more detailed with my reviews, but this place didn't give me much to review. Bland if you will, subpar if you will. More than likely, I will not be returning. There's plenty of other spots in downtown Annapolis that are better than this establishment, if you're looking for Annapolis dining.

Went for brunch. Eggs Benedict had Canadian bacon so thin, it was not there. Little to no sauce. Home fries? Greasy, not crisp, and the nutmeg ruined them completely. Home fries should not be creamy/greasy.Ordered my favorite crab dip for take home. Got home and was shocked. 2 tablespoons of dip, I measured. Charging 18 dollars for that, shameful. This place has become stingy and needs a better cook, for sure. Truly dissatisfied, disappointed with them.No reflection on the server, he was great!

Hello All, After years of enjoying Middleton tavern, My Husband and I went to have a few drinks and an app or two. We were greeted by a bartender that was less than friendly and did not seem to want to serve the public the way prior bartenders have done in the past. We tried to get service but she rolled her eyes as if she was bothered we wanted to order food. This is unlike one of our favorite places since 1980. Hopefully things change because the market house is the friendliest place and best food around. We will pass Middletons up from now on for other restaurants around it. And will tell all our Annapolitan friends to avoid it.

This is a really cool place with two stories of bar and dining. Saw an excellent band in the pub while a piano man belted out classics upstairs. Had oysters on the half shell and they were fresh and delicious. Try the oyster shooter for something off beat.
