I ordered a Thanksgiving holiday meal from Mission BBQ, and it was amazing! First off, I got to the restaurant early, the setup to pick up the meals was well done!! They had a separate area for the pickup and they were organized. Secondly, they accommodated me by give me my meal early and provided serving utensils, plates, and cutlery. Mission is just incredible. They really deserve to be lauded for not only their food, but also for their team members and general approach to life! The barbecue is very good. I honestly thought they were a Texas brand, and was amazed to find that they started in MD. It has the real feel of a TX rural BBQ joint They are sincere patriots and truly honor those that have served. I stumbled upon their YouTube channel over Veteran's Day and have never seen a better way to honor...
We have eaten here many times and while the food is good, it's not the best bbq I have eaten. However, it is consistent as it is good every time we eat here. The service is always excellent and the place is clean. Having said that, the atmosphere is missing something. It feels like a fast food restaurant for bbq vs a place you would go for nice place to eat out. But if you want a quick meal of bbq and sides this place is for you.
