We expected a tourist trap, but it was quite the opposite. The oysters were so fresh and briny. The grilled romaine was charred lightly although the dressing was a little more than we would have wanted. Our server was a delight

Best cream of crab! And the linguini with shrimp scampi was to die for! Can't wait to go back!

Not my recommendation when in Annapolis. The restaurant is dated and feels kind of run down. It's pretty large but the very crowded and loud bar up front made all the noise. Drink list was good with multiple wines by the glass. Tried the local oysters and was not a fan. Super briny. Got the filet Oscar and I'm not sure how they found 1/4 inch thick filets but they did. You get two so maybe they split one? Oscar sauce was pretty good. Our server was nice and did a good job with all the orders. Table favorite was probably the crab dip with crackers and bread.

The crab dip was probably the best I've had. The server was amazing especially with house insanely busy it was. Drinks were good, steak was cooked to perfection.

The Annapolis Crab sandwich was really good! And we also tried the soft sell crab special sandwich and it was super crispy and nice !!! True crab meat with nice sauces and fries.
The service was great and fast. My only suggestion is that the bathrooms need some maintenance 🫣

I was greeted and seated quickly by the friendly host. That was the best part of the experience. I had to wait 15 minutes before anyone came to take my drink order. After ordering food, another 15 minutes went by before the waiter came back and told me they were out of what I had ordered. He said he would give me time to look at the menu again. After waiting 10 more minutes for him to return, I left.

Cream of crab soup was amazing as many have said. The Maryland crab was not, nor really anything else...crab cake was fine but nothing to write home about. Steak, fish and chips and rockfish were all bland and not good. Wanted to like this place but won't be back.

Situated in the heart of histroic downtown Annapolis, this venue is the perfect place to soak in the charm, the history, and most of all, a place to dine inside or in the garden. Excellent menu, great service, choice of beverages, a bar, and, of course, delicious seafood, notably the crab cakes. Perfect choice for large groups or an intimate date. Our waitress was charming, caring, and attentive.

Celebrating a birthday from out of town. We had changed plans last minute to choose O'Brien's due to reviews and rankings in recent publications. lol, unbeknownst to us this is the home of the “Santa Speedo Run”. Haven't been downtown Annapolis in probably 30 years for varied reasons including parking but we selected downtown due to the weather and atmosphere. Upon arriving before our reservation we were pleasantly welcomed and quickly sat by the front window, maybe not ideal, being between the bar and the street but everything was lively. Mrs Erin, stopped to fill our waters that had just previously been done before by a passing gentleman, we inquired if she was our waitress, she stated she didn't know but took the initiative and was a phenomenal accent to our experience. Her personality and attention to detail, positive affirmations and/or suggestions about the menu were absolutely spot on. We loved her personality, she was caring and relatable that we could not have asked for someone greater than her. The oysters & crab dip as appetizers were quite a welcome to O'Brien's culinary offerings, followed by the spicy Cajun seafood jambalaya and Branzino were complimentary choices. Overall a grand experience on a celebratory evening, definitely returning. Still talking about the Branzino and Oysters not that anything was subpar but those were impressive. Thank O'Brien's & Erin for a job well done.

Visited from out of town and stopped here looking for good seafood. Had a fantastic branzino, and flight of oysters. Waitress was very knowledgeable and helpful.
