Been going to Osteria for years. Absolutely the best food and service in Annapolis. Sometimes wish they had take-out because it's so hard to get a reservation unless you know you want to go weeks in advance. It is worth the wait!!!
This is a great place for a romantic dinner, or a celebration. The scallop appetizer was out of this world. The Osso Bucco was delicious, but I had to take some home, the serving size was huge. The fish was perfecton. Arturo is the perfect host, and our group felt very spoiled. Dessert: creme brullee, ice cream, cake were all so so good.
Although the food was gourmet, as usual, we were there expressly for a birthday celebration. Known to them, as we are frequent dinners there, the server pointedly asked what vehicle we'd like for the candle - key lime pie? As it seemed this was a complementary offering, even tho I had berries and ice cream with a raging fire at home, we accepted what we thought was their offering. On the bill we were charged $15 for the pie, which we'd never had ordered had we known...
