UPDATE: After being on hold for nearly 30 minutes, i went to the location, brought back the cheese less pizza and the manager corrected the order with a huge, specialty made pizza and added wings and dessert! Definitely a huge plus when i assumed I’d be met with some teenagers working in a pizza shop. Kudos to the wonderful manager. Wish I’d caught her name!Don’t bother ordering from this location. In the 2.5 years we’ve lived in the area, we’ve ordered from here a handful times. Each and every single time there’s a problem with our food. We don’t live far from the location and the first time we ordered, the driver delivered our food to the wrong address, 30 minutes away from the store. Most recently, we ordered The Works but somehow they forgot to add the cheese. My husband only noticed after eating a slice in a rush to put the kids down for bed. Called the store and waited 25 minutes to speak to someone and we ordered this on a Wednesday, not a busy weekend.

Every now and then my husband and I will stop in and get a pizza for lunch, like around noon. The guys who work there are always nice (and funny too- in a good way). We usually eat the pizza in the car before we make it home. It's always good this way. Pros - good pizza and employees.Cons- they don't deliver to our area.

This location of papa John’s pizza in hillsmere is a good example of exactly how a papa John’s pizza should taste. Perfect soft and chewy original crust, cooked just right and not overdone. The right amount of sauce, cheese and other toppings laid out evenly across the pie. Cut just right and ready for carry out within minutes.
It was horrible. Two times in a row, I ordered food through phone call and it never showed up BOTH times. The manager was incredibly rude. Even when the food does come, it’s not very good. Every time I order extra marinara cups, they’re never in there. Needless to say, I won’t order from them ever again

Took me 2 hours to get a pizza the website said would take 45-55 minutes. Website said "delivered" an hour before it arrived. I called to ask if it the pizza was actually delivered, but apparently it's just something they do to "save time." Stood out in the cold for the last hour waiting for the driver to come.

On December 11 2021 I placed an order with this location. My estimated wait time was around 30 minutes. After well over an hour I called the store and they told me they didn’t know why I had not received my order and did not know where the driver was. I told them that I had I known it would be so long, I wouldn’t have ordered it for delivery. He refunded the delivery fee and I drive to the store. Upon arrival, both men were bewildered as to why I was there, saying they had no order for me. After a solid 2 minutes of me insisting I had just spoken to them both on the phone, he exclaimed “OH MY GOSH, ITS YOU!”. This was 9 minutes after our phone call. He explained that he had just allowed the delivery driver to leave with my order. But he did not know if he was going directly to my home. This man literally cancelled my delivery, had me drive to come get it, then let it walk out the door as I was in my way to retrieve it. Insane. I submitted complaints, and have been told that a manager submitted that this was addressed by phone and email. IT WAS NOT. 5 days. No contact. Waste of time. Do not order from this place. It needs to be shut down.

July 9,2022: I have been a customer of the Papa John's at Hillsmere Drive, Annapolis for over 8 years. This evening we order online and after 55 minutes we called to check on our pizza. The online app stated still processing. My husband calls to check on it ( we are hungry) and the man that answered told him to check on it on line. We told him it stated "still processing"; He told us " you will just have to wait ". How much longer should we wait we asked and was told " until door dash can get it to you". The tone of his voice as rude. We again ask for a best guess as to the time and He told us, we will just cancel your order and he hung up on us.I realize getting people to come to work is difficult, but there is no reason to be rude to customers who supported your business for years. Very disappointed. Will not order again.

Ordered 1 pizza online at 6:40 pm. Advised it would be delivered by 7:10 pm. At 7:40 pm called store. Said no reason to call. I disagreed, as service was exceptionally slow. Employee told me he was cancelling order and hung up on me. Support your local business instead of this national chain that has very poor service.
