I fell in love with this place...cool vibe, good food, prompt service. So much so that I booked a reservation for the following evening, only this time with 3 friends in tow. When we arrived they said all they had was outside seating AND that their heaters were out of gas. --- Saturday night of boat show weekend and you don't have heat? SMH
I'm also not sure why a reservation is booked if it isn't honored.

Do not waste your time here. Unless your getting drinks, I do not recommend Pearl. My mother and I went there for the 4th of July, and I was severely dissapointed with the food I got. I had heard all the rave reviews, and instead of one of our regular stops, we went to try a new place. I ordered their beef hard shell tacos, which were $16. I was excited to try them until they actually got to the table. 2 tacos, with shredded lettuce, tomatos, and what’s probably ground beef made with some sort of at home sauce you can make in the pan. Even worse: these were the thinnest tacos I have ever had. Probably an inch across in diameter or less. Ive gotten bigger tacos at Taco Bell and Chipotle. Chipotle is literally a few doors down, and I could get 3 tacos with a drink for less than 2 tacos at Pearl. When a fast food place is doing better than a supposed high class restaurant, you know something is wrong.

My mother constantly made comments on how thin the tacos were and asked if I was still hungry, which I was. Her salad was good, and big so that was worth the price, but the tacos were horrible. Many other items we saw come out were also small for the large price that was put on them, especially the appetizers.

Basically: the place is good for alcohol and salad, and that seems to be about it. Do not recommend for anything else.

Staff was really nice. Brussels sprouts were our favorite hands down! We both got the Chesapeake tacos. Expected the crab to be warm but didn’t hate it. Loved the taste with the hot honey. Drinks were really good and strong. Was nice to sit outside and eat!

Wonderful drinks, brutally lame and boring bartenders. If this place had fun energetic bartenders it would be much better. Saw one bartender punch the ice bin as hard as he could because he dropped a glass. Next time we came he never smiled and was a buzzkill.

Sat at the bar and enjoyed delicious shared plates and cocktails. Ro made great recommendations for food and even created a cocktail on the fly. Definitely going back. Had the sausage penne pasta and brussels sprouts and a winter gimlet.

Had a great meal at Pearl. Wonderful atmosphere with fun energy. They have a vibrant bar. We had an espresso martini because several of the to the patrons had them and it was great. They have Prosecco on tap which was also fun and a nice selection of beers by tap and bottle.

While the menu is “small plates” they are well portioned large “small plates”. We had tuna tartare, baked oysters, pear arugula salad and Brussels sprouts. All were excellent! Our server, Kyle, was superb and added to the fun of our meal!

We will be back as I want to try the bavette steak and crab cakes. They looked excellent as well.
