Full disclosure I didn't eat here but I'd 10/10 come back and eat because the food looked great coming out. I sat and had a few beers (awesome selection both in draft and in cans). It's a fun setup and the staff were so friendly.

Parking: Lot fills up quickly!

I’m going to be honest, Bernie promised me that the hat he ordered would fit my head if I left a 5 star review. Joke is on him though because I was going to leave a review regardless. This place is wonderful!! Great happy hour!

Plus, I’m a big fan of the big parking lot! Makes it soooo much easier than many an Annapolis watering hole!

The food and beer is great. It’s a shame they don’t have the space or the staff capable of managing the customers they get. They have a seating system but no one to enforce or be consistent with it. We arrived at 5 and were seated by 5:20, no one came to take our order for 15 minutes. By 5:40 we finally got to put an order in with a server that clearly was put out to do it because it’s not her table. The server who was supposed to handle our order never talked to us but had a fine time talking to the three adults right next to us. The folks next to us ordered after us and got their app before we even got our drinks. The weather changed at 6pm and they had no capability of accommodating the outside tables. When we changed out order to be to go instead they still hadn’t brought out any food by 6:30. I can’t come back. Important to note: everyone was white we were the only mixed family.

We are a family of five that eats out regularly. We dine all over and have no issue spending money on a quality experience. First, the good, our server greeted us promptly, was very friendly, took time to explain the menu and gave a couple recommendations. His service was excellent throughout and as such the 5 star rating for service. Second, the place is just great from an atmosphere standpoint. West Annapolis is a gem and this place fits right in. We sat outside and I could definitely see a nice fall afternoon sampling beers with Navy football in the background. Lastly the food, this is where things fell off considerably in terms of value. This place seems to be suffering from shrinkflation in the worst way. A family that order one pretzel bite app ($11, but then added beer cheese for another $3.5 was effectively what looked be 2 pretzel sticks cut up). The single burger reads on the menu at a reasonably priced $11, until you want cheese $1, bacon $2 and some fries $3.50. Now I’m not opposed to $16.50 for a burger and fries. What I am opposed to is effectively a glorified slider. One of our kids literally ate it in about 4 bites. Similarly, my wife ordered a house salad ($14) and added chicken $7. It was one chicken tender cut up on the salad. Again, no issue with a $21 salad if it has more than 4-5 bite sized pieces of crispy chicken. Finally, my cheese chop which is their version of a cheesesteak. Was recommended by our waiter and the flavor was very good. It was however $17.50 once the tots were included. It was effectively a hot dog roll with about 2.5-3 oz of beef on it. My wife and I were astonished. So I guess we will stick to stopping there for beers and perhaps and app but we couldn’t in good faith recommend for dinner with a family that includes multiple children/teenagers based on what they are putting out. As always, YMMV. Our total for a family of 5 with tip with about $185 that included one round of drinks (adult and kid).

A little pricey for what it is but overall really nice. The outdoor dining area is perfect.

Incredibly noisy location - it is impossible to have a conversation or hear the wait staff if dining in. Fortunately the outdoor seating is well heated.

Waited 30 minutes for a table and was told by the hostess that we could order drinks and appetizers at the bar. The bartender, when they finally, took notice of us, said we were not allowed to order food without a seat (of which there were none). Couldn't order the drink I wanted because of a missing garnish (which I would I have gladly skipped if given the chance).

Food was okay. Drunken tots were well done, string fries are also good but the burgers are just okay.

A few good beers on tap. Slash Puppy was the favorite from our group.

Nice little 3oz smash burgers and plenty of beer and drinks options. It's a little small for how popular it gets; but that's the cost of having a successful restaurant. Note that the 3 dollar hot dog is perfect! It's something that is cheap but never disappoints; add a beer, and it's even beyond perfect.

Chessie's Wharf has a great atmosphere, with some outdoor seating and a TV for watching sports. We were seated right away, but it took quite a while for us to be greeted by our waiter. Maybe there was some miscommunication about whose table we were.
Our party of four had Chessie Burgers and Fish and Chips. The prices seemed high for the portions we received, but the food came out quickly and was fresh.
I tried one of their IPAs on draft and I was happy with it.

Every single beer they make is amazing. I tried quite a few and couldn't find a bad or even moderate one. The service was good. For it not being packed I would have expected a little faster service, but it wasn't enough to be annoyed or disappointed by. Just a little odd to wait a few minutes for a drink. You won't be disappointed going here. The food all tasted amazing and food and drinks were such great values!

The food and service were good, but the offerings are overpriced. Lobster roll had nice flavor on a fresh bun, but recommend you travel down the road to Masons for more meat; you'll also save $12.

I enjoy going to RAR in Cambridge. Figured I’d go here because it’s much closer. The parking is horrible. There have been several times I’ve tried to stop by but couldn’t find parking. The parking lot is way too small and most of the street parking is permit only. I’ve been here twice, the food was good and beer is always good. However, I’ll continue to drive to Cambridge where parking isn’t an issue.
