O'Brien's Oyster Bar & Seafood Tavern

We hosted our family from multiple states and Europe for Christmas dinner on Christmas Day in the 18-Century Ballroom upstairs and could not be more pleased.

The GM was extremely accommodating and communicative. The event-day staff was professional and outgoing. The food was top notch. There were no surprises. The event went as planned, and I was complimented by practically every guest about how amazing the place, experience, and food was.

If you're looking for a unique experience for a catering event with a reasonable price tag....this is the place.

Been here a few times just for cocktails; first time here for Brunch on a Sunday. Had a great time, service was excellent, bottomless Bloody Mary’s (or Mimosas) are a must! The Oysters Rockefeller are incredible. Steak and eggs were perfect as well. Looking forward to coming back soon.

The food is really good, but a bit of more of a dive bar than I expected! The crab cake was great though, definitely a great local hangout and was fun to watch Sunday Night football at!

So went there thinking Guinness and fish and chips, always a winner. “We ran out of Guinness.” Is that like McDonalds we ran out of french fries??? Then to the meal, really dark French fry’s and fish, for the uninformed, dark colored fried food means old dirty grease. French fries come out white in clean grease, so golden brown French fries and fish, not a plus. The service was slack, but ok, atmosphere was sports bar pub, again always a winner.

When going to O’Brien’s? Order seafood!
Their seared tuna nachos served with seafood salad and perfectly crisp nachos are a fam fav.

Tasty crab balls, crab dip, fresh garlicky mussels ( make sure to ask for bread to dip the flavorful sauce)- always yummy. Crab cakes are good- nice level Of Old Bay. Oyster fans (me!) will love their take on Oysters Rockefeller. Their fish and chips are excellent- never greasy. Crispy. Lots of flaky, meaty fish- big portios.

Always good service.
Expect a small wait on weekends and plan for it.

Parking: The parking garage is very close. 2nd lot is a few blocks down the street off West street. The joy of Annapolis is window shopping- so the walk is always pleasant.

We were in Annapolis for the sailboat ⛵️ show. This place was just a few steps outside the entrance, the weather was beautiful so we sat outside, because we are from the midwest we had to try the oysters, they were so good they didn't last long. The beer was awesome as well!

Went on Friday evening to get a drink and watch a game. Immediately my friends and I were rudely talked to by the blonde bartender. The others seemed friendly but no service could make up for how rude she was to us before we even sat down at the bar. She wasn’t even the one to take our drink orders, she just had the worst attitude and made my group uncomfortable.

The food was really great!! It's probably the best crabcakes I've had yet. Our waitress was awesome!! Really informative and attentive. I will definitely be back, and I will also recommend it to others.

Fun place to get bottomless mimosas. Food is good, nothing memorable, but won't disappoint. Fun place at night as well for dance vibes.
