Good portions, fresh ingredients, fast service and drive-thru.
I've only been there once so far but the staff was super friendly, the atmosphere relaxed and attentive, and the PB and chocolate smootie was both energizing and refreshing on a very hot day.
Consistently amazing food. I love that I can buy the ingredients for my favorite toast (Smoky Shrooms) from the refrigerator.
Staff could stand to be more proactive in making customers feel safe. My last visit, I was harassed by a delusional woman accusing me of stealing her identity, and nobody so much as asked her to stop.
I stopped by Rutabaga Juicery & Eats for the first time this past week and although I'm glad I tried it, I'm not planning on returning.
The shop itself is clean, staff were very polite, but the environment was very loud from the coffee grinder (which is expected) but the sound echoed like there's no tomorrow. I ordered a small mocha latte for a pricey $7.83, and it had less taste quality than something you'd get at a Dunkin' or Starbucks for less money. Very small drink as well.
I have seen Rutabaga for a few years, and am happy to have tried the coffee, but the price and noise level weren't enough to make me recommend it to others, however it seems to be popular and I'm glad others enjoy it.
Amazing
My favorite juicery! So sad they moved from Crofton but I frequently make the hike to Annapolis. The smoothies and bowls are so fresh it’s the only place I feel use lol natural fruit and no added sugar. Keeping my fingers crossed for Crofton location
Rutabaga’s açai is impressively close to the original Brazilian version. It has that authentic flavor and smooth texture you’d expect, making it a great, healthy snack option. Definitely worth trying if you’re looking for a nutritious treat that tastes like the real deal.

Stopped in here while visiting Annapolis. It was clean and cute inside. The mushroom toast was DELICIOUS, smoothie and coffee were great too. I’d definitely eat here again if I’m in the area.
Took 30 minutes for a chai tea and coffee with whole milk . They forgot the whole milk . Both were so bitter they were undrinkable . Bad product, service , and overpriced .

I absolutely love this place. I’m newly vegan and finding reliable spots has been difficult. I’m only in Annapolis once or twice a month for work, but I visit every time I’m there! The chickpea salad is SO GOOD. The green zinger smoothie is also incredibly delicious. If I lived closer I’d be here daily!

I have been getting the Sunshine bowl for several years. The last 6 months they have been really off in taste. The apple juice is overpowering, which is not good for me because I don’t drink apple juice. The base used to be a pale yellow and now it looks like apple juice. I should have checked before I left the drive through window so that I could express my concerns.

Every time I go here, I ask myself: why didn’t I try Rutabega sooner? I’ve recently started going here for their green smoothies (either the zinger or the protein) and they’re amazing, but today I had the smoky mushroom toast and I was totally blown away. Everyone there is super friendly and helpful if you have any menu questions. Only downside is that it’s a bit small inside but they have tables to sit outside. Highly highly recommended if you want something healthy and delicious—a rare combo!
