Amazing as always! The staff are warm and super friendly, and will tell you what they recommend truthfully. It feels like catching up with an old friend when I visit. I am still obsessed with their Berried smoothie, and their Zest cold-pressed juice!

I wish it was allowed for a 10 star. This was so flipping good I will have to make a trip out to Annapolis just for this and I live over an hour away. I’m a private bus driver for a Frederick company. So some down time meant time for a treat. Beyond words to explain it. The granola was so crunchy, the blueberries were as if they were fresh picked from the tree, the pineapple perfect bite size sweetness with a hint of zesty, the mango smoothie smothered by all of it. Each bite was better than the one before it. I don’t rant about a lot of places but this by far is the best thing I’ve bought smoothie wise ever. Not only was my food amazing but I also loved my little espresso and the young man who helped me was so polite and friendly. He helped me figure out what I wanted since I can’t have bannans and not a fan of strawberries. He was well versed on the menu options and could tell you where something was with out looking. Good job staff. I’ll be back. You all were quick happy and deserve to keep having happy costumers. 🥰

I just ordered the Buffalo Chickpea Toast with the vegan blue cheese (added cucumber) and it is one of the best things I have ever tasted. As a vegan, it's sometimes difficult to find delicious and fresh food (aside from smoothies) that is affordable and omg, it was phenomenal. I will be ordering it again soon!

The only drive through with healthy food in the area! I wish I had one closer to me, I got the avo toast and a smoothie which were both so good. The coolest concept, high quality food 10/10

I come to Rutabaga through the drive through for lunch several times throughout the week and have been for years but my last few visits have left me less than impressed. Today I admittedly walked in before closing at 4:55 for a regular açaí bowl, nothing special. I was standing in line behind a mom with a handful of kids when I heard the guy behind the counter say “we’re closed.” The mom turned to me, we both looked very confused at each other looking at our phones that said 4:56. I worked in service for over a decade so I totally understand the frustration of a group of people walking in right before closing, but the door was unlocked (because it was not 5pm) we waited in line behind the people who got to order in front of us, then got turned away and were out the door prior to 5pm closing time. It would be different if they ran out of something but that was not communicated and the guy literally turned down a line of people who were happily waiting to spend their money here. Prior to this experience, I walked in again shortly before closing and the girl behind the register felt she had to check with her other coworkers if they wanted to make my very regular açaí bowl. I was allowed to place an order that time, but I was not happy with the service and felt genuinely confused by the experience. Why be open but make it seem like such an inconvenience when people want to actually order food? I’m a young person, I get that work isn’t everything but your work ETHIC still matters, it would have taken these kids an extra 10 minutes- tops to help the family in front of me today. Just a poor experience overall.

One of my favorite local haunt in my home state and now I live in FL. I was on vacation recently visiting with a friend and took her to this awesome place. My friend Chrissy loved her smoothie bowl and carrot cake.

I loved my Cacao protein smoothie bowl, very chocolatety, healthy and nourishing. I regret not having more time going there a second time for the Mac and cheese there from Dodah's Kitchen.

I've only been there once so far but the staff was super friendly, the atmosphere relaxed and attentive, and the PB and chocolate smootie was both energizing and refreshing on a very hot day.
