Sammy's Italian Pizza Kitchen

Among the best sauces anywhere was served up with both the pasta & meatballs and the duck ravioli. Loved the spot from the moment Giselle steered us through the happy bustling throngs of totally filed tables. Service and food were fast, fabulous and unforgettable.

Well let talk about my food was unseasoned the fries portion was unbelievable my homegirl food was wrong the sauce tasted like trash her garlic bread was burnt the broccoli was cooked in microwave for steam and her chicken was dry and unseasoned

My family and I love Sammy's. We usually go there once a week to either eat in or carry out, and we've been doing that for years. The food is delicious and always carefully prepared, whether you get something from the regular menu or from the daily specials board. The service is excellent, and Sammy himself is there to greet us. The location is in a small outdoor shopping center not far from the historic district. Prices are quite reasonable, especially in contrast to restaurants downtown, and there's plenty of parking and indoor seating. Highly recommend!

The pizza is very good. We had the 16” Chicago pan pizza w/meatballs. My only concern was the limited amount of topping on it. I definitely recommend ordering double or even triple the amount of topping on it. Great flavor, no doubt. We will order again, just modify the order.

Excellent place for a casual lunch or dinner. A great selection of Italian favorites. Start with the garlic knots! Good pizza and a great selection of pasta. Beer and wine are available also. The staff is friendly and service is quick. Worth a visit!
