This establishment has been a neighborhood favorite for many years. We were fortunate to celebrate our friend's birthday before the restaurant closed its doors for good on 9/26/21!
A wonderful restaurant. A true shame it is closing. The food & service were fabulous and the location & view was amazing. I'm hoping they find new owners that appreciate this gem!

We were sat at our table around 6:30-6:50. We had ordered a nice bottle of wine and a round of drinks. The server came back at 7 and we placed our order. He came back a few minutes later to let us know the kitchen closed 30 minutes ago and we couldn’t order any food at all. We said the restaurant is listed as being open to 9:30 and we didn’t understand why the kitchen would close to early. We were told that what is on the internet is unreliable and the kitchen closes when it decides to close. It was a shame that over $100 was spent on drinks with absolutely no food to accompany it. We ended up leaving and going elsewhere for dinner

First time there and enjoyed every bit of it celebrating my friend's birthday. The food was very good. We were disappointed to here the restaurant was closing to a new owner but hopeful it would be an even better experience.

Good food. It would be nice to get a little more for the price.AND, I don't understand their reservation system. They tell you that they have a 1 or 2 hour wait, and when you get there the place is empty. Hmmm
Wanted a Bloody Mary. Their mix was too spicy so the bartender made one with tomato juice. Just vodka & tomato juice. That's not a Bloody Mary. I had to request seasonings, worchestire and horseradish to make my own. Used low quality tomato juice. Ordered the crab cake melt with applewood smoked bacon. Sandwich was not grilled. Crabmeat was scant and the bacon near uncooked. Not crispy. $23.00 My father ordered the lobster roll. Menu did not say lobster “salad” roll. But that's what he received and that was only made with claw meat. No lobster tail meat. 24.00. In the past Sams had only the highest quality of ingredients. My family has been patrons of Sam's since it opened. Stopped when it changed management and changed menu to have a more Asian lean. Was excited to see the menu returned to more regional cuisine. Best thing today were the French fries and they were cold.

If I could give this 0 stars I would. We showed up at 6:15 pm Sunday, on a holiday weekend. The host seemed like he was high and had no idea what was going on, he did not speak clearly. He took our names, went to the back to check if we could be seated, took our names and told us 15 minutes. We went outside to wait and around 6:30 came out and told us they actually couldn't seat us. We had to ask why before we were given a reason, and he said the kitchen is closed. Really?! At 6:30 on a holiday weekend?? I've worked in the service industry, including an upscale restaurant nicer than Sam's, and have never heard of something like this happening. At the very least a manager should have come out to speak with us. The host was rude and I find it even ruder we had to wait for a table for 15 minutes before being told we couldn't be seated. Horrible service, will never eat here again!

Rude and disrespectful service, it’s as if they hate people. Quite possibly the worst restaurant I’ve ever been to in years. As a former waitress and bartender, you win for exactly what not to do.

Get there at 7:15 for a 7:00 reservation. Walk in and literally the first thing we hear is the guy inside the kitchen door to the right of the front entrance say "What, does everyone wanna f****** eat at 7:30?!" Yes, j**** People get off of work at 6:00 and go out to eat at 7:00. The five minutes I spent in this place is the only amount of time I'll spend here. And maybe you should close at 7:00 if us customers who put money into your paycheck aren't good enough to eat past 7:30.
Great spot and fabulous views of the marina from the dockside bar area - very relaxing! That said, we went for brunch, which they no longer serve though the brunch menu is up on their website and on their sign! They offer a very small breakfast menu of eggs any style (except poached), breakfast taco, and Belgian waffles. The waffles were good and the bacon also quite good. Ordered eggs over easy that came out crispy and hard as a rock, and the coffee was probably the worst I've had in a long time. They did recook us new eggs and took the coffee off the tab, which was good. Service was bad in getting seating - no one else waiting and only a single table was taken when we arrived but the hostess seemed completely overwhelmed and took forever to seat us - but our waiter was great - very attentive and personable. Sadly the view or the waiter didn't completely compensate for the just so so food. We won't be back.

This place sucks. Do not waste your time here. We walked in being 5 minutes late on Saturday night and they told us kitchen is closed. We asked to talk to the manager, he refused to come out. They did the same thing with 5 other people there. They were rude, disrespectful. When i told them, we will post a review, the guy said we do not care, we are closing in 1 month. never go to this place even if it is open for 1 month. The managers name was brandon.

We had a 7pm reservation on a Thursday night. We invited two new neighbors who were new to town. Sam's has a beautiful view and every opportunity to have a great vibe. They missed the opportunity. Wait staff and management totally screwed up their chance. The staff rushed us along like we were lucky to be there. 7:40pm they were pushing for full order. While we were mid course the staff turn up the lights all the way and made it very clear they wanted to go home. It was 8:20 on Thursday. A few other couples were in the pace and hurried to get out. Super disappointed for our new neighbors into the Annapolis. 100% sure it will be a very long time before we try them again.

Fantastic spot for lunch or dinner! Started with a cup of she-crab soup, entree was rockfish topped with crab meat, rice and broccolini, and finished with key lime pie! Going back next week for mom's birthday celebration??

Lobster mac and cheese is the bomb! Also the crab cake sandwich was very good as well. Wait staff was very good and location is great. We ate outside. Only thing keeping me from a 5 star rating was the hostess and waitress that was standing there when we walked in. I felt like I had walked in to a private party. I'm sure it wasn't something they always do so I'll just chalk it up to walking in at a bad time.
