Sweet Slice Cakery

Small family owned business founded in August 2023! My family is from Pittsburgh, where there are a fair amount of large cheap amazing bakeries. We have really been missing a good place to get baked goods since we have been in Annapolis and now we have found it! We got six cupcakes on a Friday night and every one was amazing, particularly the snickerdoodle and salted caramel. The cake was moist and the icing was wonderfully whippy. We are so excited to have stumbled across this place while walking a lap around the mall. Will be back!

I tried the coconut cake. I learned from previous purchases to not be greedy and eat it right out of the fridge. The cake was delicious. Full of coconut, I love coconut, a scoop of the cake and icing mmmm so good. I really enjoyed. I wish I would've gotten more since I don't live close to the store. Customer Service is Always off the charts Amazing!! You're greeted with a smile and treated like family!!

My friend and I were walking in the mall and saw this cupcake shop. I spend $21 and some change plus tip on 3 cupcakes. The cupcakes were TERRIBLE. Omg! I was very disappointed. I tried to support the establishment but the cupcake felt dense and didn’t taste fresh. Presentation was good, but I should have known when we walked in there on a Friday evening and it was empty. I was excited to try the cup cake because everywhere we walked, people kept stopping us asking where did we get the cupcakes and are they good. Smh. I really want a refund but I guess that’s the gamble you make. Ima stick with nothing bunt cakes or the Amish Market.

Sweet Slice made my daughter’s 11th birthday party perfect! The cakes were delicious, they were so very helpful with planning and took care of everything (even down to a Taylor Swift theme!) The kids had the best time. :)Thank you Sweet Slice!

Picked up a Too Good to Go order of 8 cupcakes, just to try them out. All the cupcakes were either vanilla (though they almost smelled like a hint of coconut?) and chocolate. They weren’t dry, but I just didn’t personally like the taste. The cake part seemed a bit bland. The icing was great. Not too sweet, just right. Much tastier than the actual cake. Cute decoration too. One was a mint cupcake; the icing was decorated with mint cookie & candy pieces. It was very tasty and not an overwhelming mint flavor. The staff were friendly and the store seemed clean and welcoming. I would consider trying them again, though I think I would go in and specifically pick other cupcakes to try more flavors. They have such good reviews from other people that maybe I haven’t had the full experience. I would definitely say if you are in need of a fix for your sweet tooth, give them a try!

Parking: It’s in the Annapolis Mall, which has a large parking lot and various garages.

Wheelchair accessibility: The mall has several handicapped parking spaces and ramps to get into the various entrances.

My wife and I had a really nice time here. The staff were friendly and the prices were fair. The small vanilla buttercream frosting sprinkle cake we got was fairly priced and tasted great. I would recommend this place!

Such a cute bakery! The owner is so sweet, the the cupcakes are GORGEOUS! I got the Biscoffee cupcake, pumpkin spice cupcake and the red velvet and pumpkin spice macrons (pumpkin spice was eaten before I could get a picture ?). Highly recommend!
