The servers are the best, and the food is delicious.
Waited 1 hour and 10 minutes to get our food. Literally the slowest service I have ever seen. Food finally came out and order was wrong. Unacceptable. Food looked like it was prepped by kitchen staff with 0 experience and definitely not worth the price. Will not be coming back.
Great cocktails!! These bartenders really know what they’re doing. It really adds to the casual chic vibe. Haven’t tried the food (yet!) but my friends say it’s BOMB 💣 I love the vicinity to the Naval Academy, so post walk of the Yard, you can have yourself a capirinha. The vibe is super chill—can be a great spot for a date or a an experience with friends 💃🏽
Unfortunately I have to change my review since they laid off their staff without any notice, lying to them telling them that they were closing only to let the current staff go and hire new people. We haven’t been back since this happened :(
It’s a shame because the previous chef had great offerings but I just can’t support a place that does that to its employees
The food is rather good: queso is great, guac is solid, even the fries are pretty good, and the entrees are quite tasty. It’s a real shame, then, that the service is so poor. I ordered a burrito and asked to sub shrimp instead of chicken/steak and then asked for fries instead of the side salad and it ended up costing $16 more (total of $35 which is obscene). Our waiter never once mentioned any sort of upcharge and when we inquired about the price we were met with “is what it is.” Disappointing. That coupled with the fact that the service was very slow and inattentive made it a subpar meal. And the food really was delicious, probably some of the best Mexican food in Annapolis, which makes it all the worse that it wasn’t an enjoyable experience. We’ve been twice and might give it a third shot - hopefully it’ll be better then.
One of the best spots in DTA! Truly a gem. Super friendly staff, great food, and incredible cocktails. They care about what they do and it shows in every little detail.
Great ambiance, great food. Staff very friendly. Will definitely return.
I had the smothered burrito, and the red sauce was very overpowering, and you couldn't really taste anything on the inside because of that. My wife had the carne asada. The steak was cooked fine but lacked seasoning and would have been better if the onions and peppers were caramelized. The wontons were good but did not have enough filling inside of it. The server was very nice and accommodating and replaced my burrito with quesadelia, which was much better. Really good drinks and the atmosphere was nice. It was expensive for just for ok food.
I had the smothered chicken tinga burrito. It was really good. So was the jalapeno dressing on the salad. Guacamole was excellent too. The side of beans and rice could use a little more flavor for my liking, but it was all fresh. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
One of the few spots left in Annapolis that makes real homemade food and excellent cocktails. Everything is great!

Cool spot. Good food and drinks, friendly staff and great vibe.
We went for lunch. We loved the food, lots of vegetarian options, and the staff was awesome!
This past weekend, my wife and I met up with friends at The Goat in Annapolis, MD, a spot that came highly recommended. The experience did not disappoint! Our server, Camille C., did a phenomenal job from start to finish, providing friendly, attentive service throughout our visit.
The restaurant has a cozy, laid-back atmosphere with a dog-friendly outdoor seating area toward the back, which was perfect because one of our friends brought their dog. It was great to see that the place accommodated pets so easily.
We started with some appetizers: the Guacamole & Salsa served with tortilla chips, and the Nachos, which featured house-made tortilla chips, malted cheddar, pickled jalapeños, cotija cheese, salsa rojo, and crema. We opted to go without any added meat, and the nachos were deliciously satisfying on their own.
For dinner, I tried the Smothered Burrito without meat, loaded instead with extra veggies. It had a flavorful combination of cheese, refried black beans, avocado, roasted red peppers, and onions, all smothered in a red sauce and lime crema, with a side salad. They were very accommodating for vegetarians, which I appreciated.
Our group also ordered two servings of the Blackened Salmon, which came with refried black beans and cabbage curtido, and one Mahi Sandwich. Each dish was well-prepared and packed with flavor.
To drink, we had three Hibiscus Ginger Beers, which added a refreshing and slightly spicy kick to our meals.
The overall experience was fantastic—the food was fresh and flavorful, the service from Camille was top-notch, and the ambiance was perfect for a casual evening out with friends. The Goat is definitely a spot I’d recommend and return to!

We found this hidden gem last year and KNEW we had to come back this year... and we did TWICE! The staff is incredibly kind and authentic - a very local neighborhood vibe - comfortable and welcoming! The food and handcrafted cocktails were just as amazing! We tried the chorizo dip (delighful!); the chicken tinga wontons (yummy!); the red snapper poke (as fresh as if it just came from the Caribbean Sea that day); and the sweet potato tostada (heavenly and light)! The wine list hits all the notes and the house and spicy margaritas were excellent and well balanced. And the prices incredibly reasonable for such high quality food and drinks! This place is now a must for us every time we go back!
