Our service was great! Drinks good too. Loved the nacho appetizer. Very cheesy! Had the chicken tostadas. Chicken tastes good but greens were too dry . They need a little oil or dressing to improve this dish! Cute little place.

The tequila menu is fantastic! The service is always friendly and thoughtful, and we've yet to order something we didn't enjoy. Both the indoor and outdoor seating options create a great atmosphere. This place never disappoints!

The servers are the best, and the food is delicious.

We had very nice waitstaff. It's a very cute place but tiny. So when a singer playing the guitar started, I could not hear my friend speaking across the table from me. I asked to move as far as possible and the waitstaff happily obliged. Service was excellent. The food however was a disappointment. I ordered chips with salsa, queso, and guacamole. The chips were thick, stale, and cardboard like, and the queso had little taste. My friend was not impressed with her meal either. Very cute place and friendly staff. They need to work on the food.

Waited 1 hour and 10 minutes to get our food. Literally the slowest service I have ever seen. Food finally came out and order was wrong. Unacceptable. Food looked like it was prepped by kitchen staff with 0 experience and definitely not worth the price. Will not be coming back.

Great cocktails!! These bartenders really know what they’re doing. It really adds to the casual chic vibe. Haven’t tried the food (yet!) but my friends say it’s BOMB 💣 I love the vicinity to the Naval Academy, so post walk of the Yard, you can have yourself a capirinha. The vibe is super chill—can be a great spot for a date or a an experience with friends 💃🏽

Unfortunately I have to change my review since they laid off their staff without any notice, lying to them telling them that they were closing only to let the current staff go and hire new people. We haven’t been back since this happened :(

It’s a shame because the previous chef had great offerings but I just can’t support a place that does that to its employees

The food is rather good: queso is great, guac is solid, even the fries are pretty good, and the entrees are quite tasty. It’s a real shame, then, that the service is so poor. I ordered a burrito and asked to sub shrimp instead of chicken/steak and then asked for fries instead of the side salad and it ended up costing $16 more (total of $35 which is obscene). Our waiter never once mentioned any sort of upcharge and when we inquired about the price we were met with “is what it is.” Disappointing. That coupled with the fact that the service was very slow and inattentive made it a subpar meal. And the food really was delicious, probably some of the best Mexican food in Annapolis, which makes it all the worse that it wasn’t an enjoyable experience. We’ve been twice and might give it a third shot - hopefully it’ll be better then.

We enjoyed an early dinner at The Goat. We really enjoyed the food. I had the smothered chicken burrito and a very well made margarita. My friend enjoyed the blackened mahi sandwich with a glass of wine. The side salads were fresh with a light dressing. The service was on point with plenty of checking in and refills of our water glasses. It was fun to watch all of the Navy Midshipmen walk by during dinner. We did have to ask for the music to be turned down since we were seated near the speaker and had a hard time having a conversation. They were very amenable and turned it down some. I would definitely return for another fresh well prepared meal with solid service.

My first visit and it was thoroughly enjoyable. I had the Mahi sandwich which was excellent. My two guests each had burritos (one chicken and one beef) which were roughly the size of Pluto and both were completely satisfied. I also have to thank our server. She was perfect.

One of the best spots in DTA! Truly a gem. Super friendly staff, great food, and incredible cocktails. They care about what they do and it shows in every little detail.

Start with the nachos and finish with the espresso martini (made with Ancho Reyes chili liqueur), you'll be asking for another! With so many corporate dining concept restaurants around, this cozy corner spot stands out as a breath of fresh air. While big-name establishments offer predictability and mass-produced ambiance, The Goat delivers genuine warmth, character, and a sense of community.

Cozy laid back vibe with creative food and cocktails. It's a 10 and we all are going back!

I had the smothered burrito, and the red sauce was very overpowering, and you couldn't really taste anything on the inside because of that. My wife had the carne asada. The steak was cooked fine but lacked seasoning and would have been better if the onions and peppers were caramelized. The wontons were good but did not have enough filling inside of it. The server was very nice and accommodating and replaced my burrito with quesadelia, which was much better. Really good drinks and the atmosphere was nice. It was expensive for just for ok food.
