This past weekend, my wife and I met up with friends at The Goat in Annapolis, MD, a spot that came highly recommended. The experience did not disappoint! Our server, Camille C., did a phenomenal job from start to finish, providing friendly, attentive service throughout our visit.

The restaurant has a cozy, laid-back atmosphere with a dog-friendly outdoor seating area toward the back, which was perfect because one of our friends brought their dog. It was great to see that the place accommodated pets so easily.

We started with some appetizers: the Guacamole & Salsa served with tortilla chips, and the Nachos, which featured house-made tortilla chips, malted cheddar, pickled jalapeños, cotija cheese, salsa rojo, and crema. We opted to go without any added meat, and the nachos were deliciously satisfying on their own.

For dinner, I tried the Smothered Burrito without meat, loaded instead with extra veggies. It had a flavorful combination of cheese, refried black beans, avocado, roasted red peppers, and onions, all smothered in a red sauce and lime crema, with a side salad. They were very accommodating for vegetarians, which I appreciated.

Our group also ordered two servings of the Blackened Salmon, which came with refried black beans and cabbage curtido, and one Mahi Sandwich. Each dish was well-prepared and packed with flavor.

To drink, we had three Hibiscus Ginger Beers, which added a refreshing and slightly spicy kick to our meals.

The overall experience was fantastic—the food was fresh and flavorful, the service from Camille was top-notch, and the ambiance was perfect for a casual evening out with friends. The Goat is definitely a spot I’d recommend and return to!

We found this hidden gem last year and KNEW we had to come back this year... and we did TWICE! The staff is incredibly kind and authentic - a very local neighborhood vibe - comfortable and welcoming! The food and handcrafted cocktails were just as amazing! We tried the chorizo dip (delighful!); the chicken tinga wontons (yummy!); the red snapper poke (as fresh as if it just came from the Caribbean Sea that day); and the sweet potato tostada (heavenly and light)! The wine list hits all the notes and the house and spicy margaritas were excellent and well balanced. And the prices incredibly reasonable for such high quality food and drinks! This place is now a must for us every time we go back!

Came here at 4pm on a Saturday afternoon. Drinks, food and service were all outstanding. The waitress was very thorough in helping ensure no allergens in my husband’s meal. On a very quiet, quaint street in the heart of Annapolis. Highly recommend.

I love this place so much. Mexican-American in a gorgeous setting with great service. Menu is on the smaller side but everything we’ve tried has been great. This was our second time and the cocktails are such a hit. We’ve liked the espresso martini and their margaritas- fair warning, margs are served in a smaller glass and they offer special flavors weekly. This week was cantaloupe- cantaloupe!- great as always. We got the chips/salsa/guac (salsa is sorta puréed but I love that personally, guacamole is just-combined with raw red onion). I got the Caesar salad with salmon. The dressing was perfect, arugula was super fresh, croutons were crunchy but still melt in your mouth. And y’all, they do salmon SO well here. Great on the tostada as well. Posting what my boyfriend got too- smothered burrito. Looked phenomenal.

Always fresh and delicious food. I consistently have the best service in Annapolis and I’m impressed by the low prices. Honestly they could charge more! I love the seasonal changes and so glad they brought nachos back on the menu!

This is such a cute little place! Love the decor and ambience. Staff are very friendly. We stopped by on a Sunday night just for drinks and a snack. We tried the margherita and caipirinha, both were delectable (and they don't skimp on the alcohol!) We weren't super hungry so just got the quesadilla which was a very good portion to share. Overall, loved the experience and would come back next time we're in Annapolis!

Went here on 4th of July night, 45 mins before the fireworks show. Surprisingly not busy, our server was nice.

We got drinks and appetizers first, the Paloma was refreshing, my partner got the Hibiscus Mezcal Mule and LOVED it! Jalapeno poppers and Chicken Tinga Wonton hits the spot, i loved the greens beds that the jalapeno poppers were on top of. (hot tip: use the japapeno ranch with the jalapeno poppers and greens!!)

I got the MP seafood chevice that so happens to be Mahi-Mahi for the day for $18. Refreshing but i wish the fish cuts were smaller. My partner got the Blackened Salmon; the salmon was great, the housemade refried beans was funky as in i think theres cinnamon in it, its different. Slaw was delicious!

The bathrooms are beautiful and our server was gracious when we asked for the check quick so we can catch the firework show.

This was our second time here and it was as incredible as the first. You can’t go wrong with literally any dish or drink, food presentation is stunning- it’s a 10/10, our new Annapolis go-to. The blackened salmon was perfectly made, my husband got the ribs which were also amazing.

We booked The Goat before the Graduation Ball at USNA. Shannon, the manager, was excellent and the service for 25 people was superb. The drinks kept coming (spicy margarita is SO GOOD) and the food was delicious (chorizo dip & green tomato BLT). If you are in Annapolis, swing by this gem! It’s the kind of place you wish you could be a regular at!

There was 20% gratuity added to my bill and I didn’t realize. We had a party of 3 so I wasn’t expecting it. I tipped 20% on top of the total not realizing it was already included. This place will not answer the phone to resolve the issue. It feels scammy - I clearly didn’t realize there was gratuity added and the server never said anything.

Terrible nachos, they were like three pieces melted with 1 pound of cheese. Aguachile also not tasty at all. Don’t go there, waist of money

We went for a spontaneous lunch here. Without a reservation on a busy Mother's Day Sunday, we were invited to two open seats at the bar. The delightful barman provided top notch service throughout our visit. The place is small, but lively, and we could easily hear each other over the other diners. The Chicken Wonton appetizer was seriously tasty, especially the dipping sauce. The Crab Salad Sando we shared was really tasty - the brioche bun added richness and the avocado replaced mayo, making for a somewhat healthier version of crab salad. My husband got the Paloma and it was really delightful- balanced and sweet with some nice reposado tequila. We concluded our meal with the chocolate mousse that was EXCELLENT - it had "Mexican hot chocolate" vibes with cinnamon flavor, as well as shavings of chocolate that added texture to what can otherwise sometimes be a texturally-dull dessert. I was a huge fan! Lovely place.

Drinks were alright. Ordered a chorizo cheese and it came out cold instead of melted. Torta was alright - nothing special. Overall overpriced. The waiter was chatting with the people from the bar so the bartender had to take our order. I will never come back.
