My family of 5 stopped here for lunch this afternoon after a Naval Academy tour. The appetizers were very small, ordered 2 and each had 5 pieces. The chicken wontons were dry. The burritos were large, not a lot of flavor and no one was really impressed. I ordered the steak tostadas. Terrible. Dry, more than well done, unflavored steak with little to no seasoning I should have sent them back in hindsight. I don’t recommend this restaurant.

This is a really nice spot with a cozy vibe and nice atmosphere. Well crafted Mexican dishes. Also a decent value for DTA. Smothered burrito has been solid 2 times now.

Great cocktails, food, and service. Can't recommend the quesadilla enough. It was fantastic, especially with the crema.

Great service, food & drink, location, and atmosphere. This is our second visit and we will be back again.
The food was ok, but not really Mexican. The menu was short and didn't include tacos, tamales or anything authentic.
Amazing food and very cool vibe in downtown Annapolis. One block from the Naval Academy and one block from the harbor. Fantastic!
The Goat had some really great food innovations. It was well-done and delicious. The staff was great. It's a small place that really gets energized when there's a lot of people there having fun. It is a neighborhood gem!

My wife and I have been meaning to try this spot ever since the summer our daughter entered the Naval Academy, and we finally made it happen. From the very first bite, we couldn’t help but wonder why we waited so long. The portions are generous, beautifully plated, and every dish bursts with flavor. The seasoning is perfectly balanced—bold without being overpowering—and the sauces are nothing short of decadent, adding layers of richness that elevate each bite.
We only managed to sample a handful of dishes this time, but it was enough to know we’ll be back on every trip to downtown Annapolis. The menu is full of tempting options, and I already have my eye on several dishes that sound even better than the last. This place is a must for anyone who loves food done right.

Food was absolutely horrible. Ordered the jalapeño poppers. The peppers were raw. The chicken tostada was a joke. Chicken was so dry as was the lettuce it was on. The chicken burrito was horrendous. There was barely and chicken. It was hard as a rock and the avocado inside was brown. There is doubt in my mind that the burrito was premade and then microwaved. The cocktails and the wine suck as well. The bartender and waitress are completely clueless. I have no idea how this place is still in business. It was one of the worst meals I have ever had.
I was looking forward to eating here as I heard there were good reviews. However, I was disappointed in the service and the food. The menu is limited and the prices are high for what you get. I prefer quality over quantity, but I got a dry burrito where the steak was tough and the side were fries. I would have much rather have had chips as an option. The food was just ok. Nothing special and certainly not worth $20 for a burrito and fries. The service was casual and there should be some serious training done. I was waiting for someone to arrive and I was asked three times within ten minutes if I wanted to order a drink or food by the same person. Odd, to be sure. As soon as my friend arrived the waitress asked us for our food order before she even had a chance to look at the menu. Then, she disappeared. We finally did get to order with the bartender. When I ordered a second drink and it was delivered, the waitress took my first drink that I hadn't finished and hurried away. I heard they have a nice patio, maybe I'll try it again, but not likely as there are so many better restaurants in Annapolis.
Friendly staff. Good selection. Clean bathrooms!
