We have walked by The Red Bean hundreds of times, and finally stopped in for our first try. Boy have we been missing out! The amazing staff tonight made us a couple custom ice cream swirl cups that were some of the best ice cream I have tasted in years. The venue is beautiful, what a gem! Strongly recommend next time you are walking Main Street!

This place is a gem. They were kind, patient and extremely helpful helping us figure out ice cream for our young kids and the littles deemed this the best ice cream ever. Grown ups enjoyed their respective ice cream and affogato. As an Italian living in the US, I thought the espresso was delicious.

We were looking for vegan ice cream and were so pleasantly surprised by this place! It was seriously delicious & we ended up loving it. The ice cream tastes fresh and each order is made with your choice of toppings blended into the ice cream. ( Cherry/Pistachio or Peanut Butter/ Coffee bean are 2 combos I would highly suggest ) the atmosphere & decor makes it a fun hangout ( especially the seating area in the back ) The 2 staff members who waited on us Tuesday evening were so kind, helpful & answered all of our questions, they did a great job!

This was the first time I had ever been at The Red Bean. I had an Affogato with peanut butter, hazelnuts, and chocolate ice cream. Emily was extremely helpful and friendly. She recommended the Affogato and I’m so that she did!
Next time I’ll need to try her other recommendation, Blueberry Kohula White Chocolate ?

Family and I were in Annapolis for vacation. As we were walking, we came across this place. We had the best ice cream and latte. They have variety of great flavors. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The place is very clean and well-organized. Highly recommended!

My friend bought a chocolate chip muffin that did NOT include any labeling that there were walnuts in it. She’s allergic to walnuts and when she asked for a refund, the shift lead gave her a hard time saying it was my friend’s fault that she didn’t ask if there were nuts. In my 7 years of experience in food service, I have never heard anything more unprofessional and immoral. She deserved a swift apology and an immediate refund or exchange, not to be berated because of the business’s poor labeling and lack of allergen transparency. People can literally DIE from their actions. I was once a regular customer here, my friends and I will never be coming back.
My favorite place to eat ice cream and drink coffee in Annapolis. Gourmet ice cream made to order, with toppings and coffee shots, which I love the most with my ice cream. The new owners made quite a few improvements, to an already great ice cream place. I will be back!

I used to have five stars for this coffee shop, but now that is under new ownership it’s changed quite a bit. The coffee is still good enough, the new owners have really junked up the place and kept it understaffed.
