Hands down the absolute best butcher shop I've ever been to. My friend has been talking this place up to me for years, and it exceeded the hype. Worth the trip all the way from Baltimore City just for this.

Stopped in for a sandwich and left with andouille. Only sandwich available was chicken salad and it was delicious. When the sandwich was ready the guy also brought me a slice of fresh smoked andouille sausage that was so perfect I couldn't not purchase a whole one. It seems more of a butcher shop than a take out sandwich place but that sandwich was crafted not just thrown together. They've got duck fat and other cooking provisions in the cooler and some beautiful cuts of beef and pork in the glass case. If I lived closer, I'd be a regular.

Made a last minute order for a smoked ham. Not only did George A. Williams accommodate, he delivered to our front door personally on CHRISTMAS EVE @ 8:50 PM!!! Can not rave enough about this culinary gem in Annapolis! This man deserves your business.Chef's kiss and thanks for adding some tasty "Merry" to our holidays!

Finally. A perfect sandwich! Ordered one ham and one chicken salad and both were out of this world. The bread was true German-style and the meat was flavorful. All flavors perfectly balanced. Love the Phish references. Need to start a cult following for this quirky place. (Menu is limited and seasonal so go with it).

AMAZING!!A quick and easy stop on your way across the Bay Bridge. Stop here and get a sandwich, But make sure you have a cooler with you to hold the freshly made peanut butter, mustard, and meats you're going to get too.I recommend the ham, roast beef, and chicken salad sandwiches.The owner/operator is super nice and helpful, and he cures all the meats himself. This place is great!
Finally discovered this place after a year in Annapolis. Guys behind the counter were super helpful and friendly. Signature burgers were phenomenal. Can’t wait to go back and try more from The Ugly Pig

Fantastic butcher shop that can get you some of the more specialty cuts that are very difficult to find anywhere else. Meat is always fresh and delicious.

Came here off of a recommendation from a friend and boy did it exceed expectations. It is a small unassuming spot centered between a fork in the road. Parking is ample in the rear, with a couple of spots out front. They have a limited menu, but when you do something so well, that doesn't even matter! The chicken salad sandwich was the best I have ever had. Not overly creamy, just the right amount with plenty of flavor. The fresh greens and tomato in top was super fresh. The seeded buns were also top notch! I purchased two small steaks and cooked them up in the cast iron. It was undoubtedly the best steak I have ever had at home; it melted in my mouth! Just look at the marbling in the pictures. The meat at the store is some of the best quality I have seen and tasted. You can easily tell that George, the owner, has a passion for his business and his product reflects that. He was friendly and very informative. I will be back for sure!

Owner is SEXIST, RUDE & OVERPRICED The guy behind the counter was rude as soon as my mother and Aunt walked through the door. Before we could even open our mouths, he made a SEXIST remark to my mother "I don't make sandwiches during the week Ladies"... when she replied "we simply are looking for bacon" he scoffed and in a belittling tone stated, "HMPH! we haven't carried bacon in 5 years"... Needless to say, we did not purchase any of the overpriced items that were in his musty shack of a business. I advise anyone and everyone to avoid this grotesque place unless you enjoy subpar service and food.
