Don’t walk… RUN to Umami!! The food, service and atmosphere are all outstanding. We had the crispy rangoon (not pictured) along with the pepper corn spicy pork soup dumplings to start. The rangoon were fried to perfection while the soup dumplings were literal perfection. I couldn’t stop eating them! We also had the spicy beef ramen… one word: AMAZING! I am definitely returning to sample the rest of the menu!
We discovered Umami Ramen & Dumplings while grabbing coffee at Panera and decided to come back for dinner — what a great choice! The restaurant was clean, stylish, and welcoming. I ordered the vegan ramen, and it was fantastic: deeply flavorful, perfectly seasoned, and incredibly satisfying. Prices were reasonable for the quality, and service was quick and friendly. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we’d definitely eat here again next time we’re in Annapolis.
Disappointing food. First time here. Took several minutes to get waitress attention though it wasn’t crowded at all. We chose the Tantanken ramen which was labeled as “spicy”. We told the waitress we like it very spicy. Also ordered the shishito peppers. The ramen broth was extremely bland, tasteless, without the slightest hint of any flavor or spiciness.
