my husband and I went there on May 24th and you had to go to the register and place your own order and pay prior to receiving your food. needless to say we did not leave a tip at that point. we both ordered the cream chipped beef with toast and my husband also ordered the sausage gravy with biscuits. not sure what kind of herbs they put in the cream chip beef but it was not very good at all plus they also added so much pepper it was almost inedible we ate what we could and left...
I just moved recently to the area and have been wanting to try this place for a few months. Go figure that memorial day weekend gave me that chance. The place has this beautiful classic 1930s to 1950s feel. They partner with a bunch of different local farms and artists in the area. They have unique food such as the lavender earl Grey ice cream. I was particularly impressed by the garlic parmesan fries. 10 out of 10 would recommend this place, also they are remodeling the basement...
We loved the ambiance, very serene and clean. The service was impeccable, and the food was tasty. Jeremiah was very personable. Everything tasted fresh. Their bathroom was spotlessly clean, with no odor of urine. I'm definitely returning.
