Our Recipes Cafe & Catering exceeded my expectations in nearly every aspect. The restaurant is impeccably clean throughout, from the welcoming front entrance to the pristine dining area. The staff member who took my order was friendly, conversational, and efficient, making the experience pleasant from the start.
I ordered the Honey Crunch French Toast with eggs and bacon. The presentation was beautiful, and everything arrived hot. The eggs were perfectly cooked, the bacon was excellent, and the coffee was flavorful and satisfying.
The French Toast itself was the only element that did not quite work for me. While visually appealing, the combination of cereal flakes, powdered sugar and syrup made it overly sweet for my taste. The cereal flakes, unfortunately, had a chewy, slightly stale texture that stuck to my teeth rather than adding the intended crunch.
Despite this one dish not being to my preference, I would not hesitate to recommend Our Recipes Cafe & Catering. The cleanliness, friendly service, and quality of the other breakfast components were all great!

What an intimate and cozy set-up. I’m visiting from Virginia Beach, VA and this was the perfect spot for an afternoon brunch. It was raining outside and I was a party of one with a window seat. Everything was perfect. I ordered the shrimp and crab grits; I also placed a to go order. This place did not disappoint and I highly recommend. I will be back when I’m in the area.

It is a quaint little eatery. Very chill vibes. If you are looking for a relaxed Saturday brunch with a good friend, this is the place. The food is mediocre but the atmosphere makes up for it. I do believe it is black-owned

My husband and I stumbled unto this place for lunch. Oh my goodness were we in for a treat! I tried two of the in-house made lemonades, the lavender/berry and the peach/basil, both were phenomenal. I had lump crab eggs benedict with grits and it was the most delishous benedict dish I've ever had! Not only so tasty, but beautifully presented. My husband had the shrimp and crab and grits and it too was beyond comparison. It was well seasoned and you will eat every spoonful of the grits. The cafe itself is a bit cramped in places, but filled with organic and homey touches. I can't wait to take my mother here for brunch! This is my new, favorite, go to for brunch!
