Both drinks came out wrong, and
the worker was silent and unwelcoming. He also took a long time to make the drinks, which were wrong anyway.

Ordered a Taro milk tea with regular ice and milk foam. The drink came out without ice and without milk foam.

Our other order was a Wintermelon milk tea without boba. The drink came out with boba.

Not sure what’s going on. Myself and my daughter have gone there at least 5 different times in the 1-2 weeks and each time the drinks were not sweet. We got a lot of ice and the drinks were extremely lighter than the picture- like they’re skimping on flavoring….
Not happy! These drinks are too pricey to not be satisfied!
We had a Lychee Blossoming and Strawberry Lemonade with poppings both Large...

The owner contacted me straight away about the drinks we received. Apologized for service and offered a gift card for the inconvenience.
He was super friendly and helpful❣️

Love this place, but every time i go i always do a pickup order through DoorDash. I get a message stating it will be ready within 5 minutes then immediately get a message saying it is ready. But when I get there i usually wind up having to wait 10-15 minutes.

They have bad customer service. They have young kids working out there without an adult. The drinks taste watered down. Never coming here again.

This place seriously needs to be investigated. Taste Tea in Arbutus is operating in a way that’s unsafe and completely unprofessional. They hire workers who are clearly underage — some looking as young as 15 or 16 — and leave them to run the shop with no proper training. Not only is that irresponsible, but it’s also dangerous.

Even worse, their sanitation is horrible. I’ve witnessed employees handling food and drinks without washing their hands, using their phones while preparing orders, and leaving food items out uncovered for long periods. The prep area looks dirty, and nothing about it seems up to health code standards.

I wouldn’t be surprised if people started getting sick from here — if it hasn’t already happened.

I hope someone from the health department sees this because the conditions behind the counter are absolutely not okay. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place until it gets properly cleaned up — or shut down.

I had a really disappointing experience at Taste Tea in Arbutus. The place looks cute at first glance, but behind the counter, it’s a different story. The staff seemed super young — like underage teens who clearly haven’t been trained properly. They were goofing off, ignoring orders, and didn’t seem to follow any real sanitary practices. I saw someone handling drinks without gloves right after touching their phone. Not professional at all. It’s frustrating because this place has potential, but the lack of proper staff and cleanliness makes it a hard no for me. Won’t be coming back.

Fairy average boba tea shop. The prices are on the high side considering the location. Service is prompt and I've never had to wait long

The establishment felt very unprofessional, with employees more focused on socializing with friends than helping customers. Additionally, if you happen to mispronounce an item, don’t expect any grace—staff were incredibly rude about it. Overall, a disappointing experience, and I won’t be returning.

The tea is fantastic and their boba is perfect! The customer service wasn’t great. We ordered at the kiosk and weren’t told that an item we ordered was out of stock until I went back to the counter to ask about the wait time. The staff then nonchalantly stated that we “should” get reimbursed at a later time.
