They have an unusual layout, excellent food options, and generous portions.

I ordered takeout from here a couple times. The last time I thought I'd try the pupusas, twin burritos, and a chicken chimichanga. OMG. The pork pupusa was absolutely on point; best I've ever had. The slaw they served with it was a perfect match. Everything was spectacular, but those pupusas are going to keep me coming back.
Staff were very welcoming. It was almost like they knew me.
Think I'll eat there next time around.
Highly recommended.

I LOVE and adore this place! I'm so hooked on plaintains and corn tamale! They give a decent portion, too, and very reasonable prices!

After 9 years of not eating at this restaurant, I returned accompanied by my wife, sisters-in-law. The food was delicious, the service was outstanding, and customer service was amazing.

Then, a week later I returned with the "margarita night" crew (we are a group of 12 and meet every Friday and try new restaurants). We loved the atmosphere, there was karaoke that night and music right before closing when some of us danced until closing.

We met the owners; they were really friendly and accommodating.

Love this restaurant and will definitely come back!

Really Disappointed in this restaurant. I am from Florida but often visit my family here every few months. I am 22 and have never had an issue with getting a drink in MD using my valid FL ID. However I was refused to be served despite having a valid vertical FL ID license. I showed other proof of my name/age on other licenses/IDs I have and was still refused. Afterwards the servers were incredibly rude to me and my party, and lingered around our table glaring at us. Unfortunately this was a family’s favorite but we will not be returning.

Online has the business hours open for Sunday. We drive out from an hour away and there’s a closed sign up front and apparently are closed on Sundays. They need to change their business hours to show “Closed” on Sundays

my partner and i decided to try this place for the first time and had an awful experience

Multiple flies landed on me, my partner, our food, and our belongings throughout the time we spent there

The appetizers were not good

The queso fundido con chorizo was not hot, was bland, and tasted like old microwaved mozzarella

The tortillas they gave us to use with the queso were store bought and did not taste good

The chips they brought out were also obviously store bought

After the 4th fly landed on me during the 30 minutes we waited for our food, I called over the manager to tell him not to send my entree at that point since I was disgusted, fed up, and didn't even like the appetizers

After some back and forth, he did not have the server bring my entree and did not charge us for it

When we were getting up to leave, the manager came up to us and said that the issue was that we weren't used to authentic Mexican and Salvadoran food which was why we didn't like it

I used to be married to a Latino, my friends and I used to make tamales and pupusas together, I used to live across the street and regularly eat at local Salvadoreño restaurants and speak Spanish. But sure my taste buds are the issue not their fly-infested restaurant with store bought food

Before leaving, the manager acted like he was going to try to shake my partners hand, after insulting our taste. When my partner refused the manager responded with "I wasn't trying to shake your hands. I don't know where they've been". They were clean before he sat in this restaurant and ate the restaurant's food

Terrible service from the owner. Came off as a bigot just because we didn't enjoy the food when there were flies landing on it and it tasted like they just microwaved some store bought tortillas

Decided to stop in since we were in the area traveling and I love Mexican and Salvadoran food but this place was a total let down

The tamale de elote was low quality

The tortillas tasted like the just microwaved something the bough from a supermarket

The queso seemed like is was just microwaved mozzarella with poor quality chorizo sprinkled on top

The guy had the nerve to claim we probably just didn't "know" Mexican or Salvadoran food..

Never mind that my dining partner was married to a latino for many years learned to cook all of the family recipes from 1 generation immigrants

Never mind that I've eaten at many authentic Mexican restaurants and actively seek out new ones to try since it's one of my favorite cuisine

Nah, this guy just assumes we don't know what we're doing when we let him know the food is bad..We didn't even ask for a refund, just let him know it was sub par

If you want GOOD authentic Salvadoran food then hit up Los Chorros in Wheaton instead

The service was great, our server was very professional. The enchiladas were good but not as soft as I'm acustomed too. I spend a lot of time working in Mexico and like my enchiladas in green sauce. Overall experience was good.
