After the great reviews I read I made first purchase. Fried platter, fish had dead fly on top, oysters fried so long they were hard, clams were laden in grease, soft shell crab was paper thin and no meat. I was so disappointed. The staff were incredibly nice and service was great, but the food was horrible so sorry to say.
We stop at Thompsons on our way to our house down in the 7th district every weekend we come! They are so friendly, have the best seafood and great prices! Their crabs, crabmeat, oysters, shrimp, fish, and prepared dishes are the best! Love to support such a wonderful family that is such a big part of this great community!

Was sad to see Kevinās corner close, but pleasantly surprised to see him at Thompsonās! Love the customer service he provides, and my oysters could not be fried any more perfectly than they are!!! 10/10!!
Stopped by and grabbed fried oysters and a fish sub for lunch today. Food was fresh and the staff weee very friendly. I will definitely be back!
Excellent crabs and great hometown business.
My crabs were light number 1 males and I got mixed females. The number 1 were not worth the money. I paid $95 dollar for the both together. When I got home I was very disappointed after driving 1 1/2 hours one way. I have gotten crabs there before and they were good. I will not get anymore crabs from Thompson.
Great service and great crabs for the price! Cooked well with just the right amount of seasoning! I really enjoyed them!
