This visit I ordered chicken livers and they gave me smothered pork chops instead. I was rather disappointed because I avoid pork. Overall everything is 5 star except for my last visit 3 weeks ago. But I definitely will be coming back because of the quality of food and the portions. Thank you. I will make sure and check my order first before leaving the restaurant. I ordered carry out on my last visit. I didn't see the error until I arrived home.

I reached out to this restaurant for catering services for my mother’s celebration of life service at funeral home near by. I had been there before but had only a couple of items. The owner and the staff was very patient and worked me to make sure my order was correct. On the day of my mom’s service the food arrived on time and was extremely delicious I had ordered at least 11 items off the menu, some, for the very first time. I had purchase 100 togo containers and there were none Left. Everyone who attended raved sight the food and I and my family went back the next day to get additional items.

I would highly recommend them for dining and for catering and will be a regular customer.

Great Location in Hyattsville n Have So Much To Offer off menu. The Grilled Porkchops Are One of My Favorite As Well As Salmon Cakes. Reasonable Prices n Great

The food & price is descent. They also have a bar which is cool & can be live on football game days. I would give them a 3 out of 5 but after spending $153 on food I asked if i could have a bag to put my sauces in and they said they would give me one for 11 cents. I didn’t have 11 cents on me. I do not understand why they couldn’t give it to me since everyone is given a free bag to carry their orders out. Also the clearly saw I had my toddler with me , so a bag would have been helpful.

Got fried croaker dinner with red potatoes and brussel sprouts. Enough food for 2 days. Red potatoes cooked to perfection. Sprouts seasoned perfectly without being salty. I fortunately, the fish was disappointing, greasy, small (2 pieces). Didn't enjoy either, picked through it and trashed it. I won't attempt anything else like that again.

The atmosphere was cool I came on a sunday so a lot of people coming from church, etc. Very friendly and mostly older customers. Service was cool, mediocre, nothing special. It did take a little longer than expected considering everything was buffet style and the food was sitting there. The food is my biggest complaint. The variety was great they had everything from crablegs to seafood to fruit juices, seafood salads, crab soups, soul food. They had it all but it was not that good. It was very mildly seasoned and bland to me. Turkey wing and chicken wings were very dry.
