I had the lump crab quesadilla and it was so good. One of the best seafood quesadillas I’ve ever had. I didn’t know what to expect getting a crab quesadilla from them but it didn’t disappoint at all. It was packed full of lump crab meat and they were very generous with it.

The food is good!! Loved the candied yams and macaroni and cheese! I also had the popcorn shrimp, it was okay but a bit dry… other than that I would definitely recommend this spot! The workers are friendly, food is good and they are generous with the portions chile! Go check em out! 🦋

I highly recommend this restaurant! The fried whiting was done just right! It was seasoned properly without having too much salt and it wasn’t cooked too hard. The greens were cooked just right with that southern vinegar flavor that I like! The fried rice was good as well! The service was outstanding and quick! Lastly, the interior and exterior of the restaurant was completely immaculate!I truly hope that this restaurant stay this way because I am totally impressed! I highly recommend this restaurant! Lastly, to the workers at this restaurant if you’re reading this, keep up the good work because I am impressed and will be coming back!

I ordered via Door Dash. The meal included a veggie platter plus fried wings. Everything was packaged carefully and correctly. The meal was fresh and delicious. As usual, customer service was outstanding. The staff was professional, courteous and patient. Much appreciated.

I've been buying food here every since they've opened. Food is very good, but the cashiers lately are very rude. They put you on hold long time on the phone and at the counter they're talking back and forth with coworkers. So you must repeat. Also they quickly punch your payment in so you can't obtain points.

The food is horrible. The grilled pork chops were overdone and not edible. Greens are not seasoned, and macaroni and cheese tastes like boxed Kraft. The Hyattsville Mid-Atlantic Seafood's bar saves this restaurant. The Hyattsville Mid-Atlantic Seafood is NOT a Soul Food restaurant. It's an imitation of how Hispanics interpret Soul Food.

Music was way too loud because the speaker is far from the staff but they want to hear the music on top of their loud conversations instead of being attentive to the patrons of the establishment. Plus the food wasn't hot or warm and the salmon taste very fishy like it was not cleaned properly. This was a nice place but has gone downhill since. Not recommended 😘
