I recently tried Savona for the first time, and I can’t believe it took me this long to discover it. The staff was incredibly patient and kind, offering great recommendations that really paid off. Their sandwiches are next-level. The sandwiches are generous in size, and you can taste the freshness of every ingredient, but the real highlight is the crusty, perfectly baked bread that’s simply divine I’ll definitely be coming back.

I love this place!! Not only can you get amazing charcuterie trays and Italian wine, they have a deli, a great selection of sandwiches, wine tastings, indoor and outdoor seating, I can go on. Oh! A really good selection of frozen fresh pasta meals like mushroom ravioli that we love!

I enjoyed the sandwiches although they were pricey for sandwiches. The staff was super nice and the food was good.

Maria is such a kind soul. She made us feel like we were regulars even though it was our first time. We didn’t know it initially but Maria was getting hugs from friends because her husband had just passed a few weeks prior and her friends came into the store to visit. My friend and I jumped in the hug line and were giddy to get warm hugs. We later found out about Maria’s husband passing. Though the sadness was apparent in her eyes it did not affect her service. The sandwiches were incredible and equally as amazing as the home town feel environment Savona creates. Stop by and give Maria a hug, she loves them

Savona is the best place to go for a good glass of wine and a great sandwich or salad. You walk in and immediately feel like you're at your second home with family and friends surrounding you. Savona is a Bel Air treasure!

Best Italian Deli in Belair!

At Savona, I always find a fun, unexpected treat. While I was wondering if they had the original version of Nutella, the Turinese gianduia, I found a beautiful green pistachio paste and some chocolate hazelnut biscotti. Gnocchi are fun to eat but can be challenging to make. Therefore, I was thankful for the frozen Gnocchi I found. The wine selection is wide given the relatively small space available in the shop. I was also able to restock my anchovies and capers.

Really disappointed, the last two times Ive gotten food, I've barely gotten any meat on my sandwich. For a $16 sandwich, I expect meat. Came in today, got the Lombardi, and once again I got maybe 1 ounce of meat on the sandwich.

By far the best Italian deli I've been to in Harford Co. Fresh bread every day sandwiches are hearty and are more like two meals than one! Great service and atmosphere. If you're in the area - just go. You won't be disappointed.

I have never been there before and I decided to try it. I was pleasantly surprised and there is so much stuff in there. I got a veggie sandwich and it was delicious! There are seats inside and out or you can carry out. You need to experience it for yourself!!
