Overall, I caution my friends that the food is mediocre in moderate quantities and rather over-priced for the value you get from plain food

Hickory Lodge. Spare ribs nice, artificial smoke in BBQ sauce. Everything salty. Brisket sandwich bland & tasteless. Service friendly but slow. The rustic decor is amusing. The cooking is primitive.

Good service and great food and drinks the food came out in a reasonable time and the waitress was knowledgeable about almost everything on the menu she gave suggestions and when we got our food it was great everything was fresh clean on point I definitely recommend getting the crab dip also.

Unpretentious outside, decorated like a hunting lodge inside. Great menu for lunch: burgers, wraps, sandwiches, etc. My friend and I both got Vegetable Flatbread. Loaded with spinach, mushrooms, tomatoes, roasted red peppers, asparagus, and topped with cheese. Finished with a drizzle of balsamic vinegar. Delicious!!

Went on a crowded Friday night, but our 7:00pm reservation seated us promptly & pleasantly. Even got the requested booth, though they said they couldn't guarantee that. Everyone, from the hostess desk (manager?) to the girl who seated us, to our server & waitress, were so very friendly. Valerie is wonderful. There were 4 of us. We arrived a little early, so ordered drinks at the bar. They were good & reasonably priced. We ordered 3 separate appetizers to share, all delicious (crab dip, rockfish bites & fried cheese). Our dinner entrees were exceptional and the presentation was very nice (seafood medley, filet mignon, shrimp 'n grits, French dip). Same with desserts. Always love their food & atmosphere.

Used to be a “go to” place for our family. The last 2 trips have been awful, mostly around the service (or lack thereof). The service was so poor this evening that we got up and left. Sat there for 15 minutes after being seated outside and wasn’t even acknowledged by a server. New menu, high prices, and terrible service. You won’t see our smiling faces any longer.

Ordered chicken tenders dipped in hot sauce like I have done before. Finally got order across. On line menu said $12.00. Got the bill they were $16.00 then they added a take out fee of $2.30. The tenders were awful. little pieces of chicken instead of tenders like they were before. They were chewy and tough. Should be crispy and moist. Would not recommend.

Heading up to Scout Camp we needed a great dinner spot to meet up with some others and found the Lodge. From the architecture to the service to the food it was great all around. Friendly attitudes, huge portions and fast service! The quesadillas were great. I enjoyed the rockfish and crab one while 2 others in our party had the chicken and beef, both loved them. The Salmon salad was a huge hit with my wife and we got a good chuckle out of the mini pitchers that the drinks were served in. Can't wait to go back.

We had Zack as our waiter outside for our anniversary meal. He was awesome. Very fast, he’s friendly and the drink he recommended was delicious!
Great food and portions for the price and a very good crowd. The place is kept clean and has plenty of spacing for social distancing purposes. The best part is the staff. They provide an amazing experience whole at the lodge. There crabby fries are to die for btw.

They had great food! Nice drinks. Need water? How about a pitcher of water just for you! Crabcake sandwhich was good! Only thing that was subgreat was at the end of our meal we were slightly forgotten about for a short while. But it was a super busy night with lots of people. Completely understandable.

I used to go here quite a lot before Covid. I honestly think it’s changed a little bit to be honest. Just called in to get a to go order and they charge you now for it? I could see getting charged for a delivery but for yourself picking up your own order I don’t think you should be charged

My 1st time there. We sat at the bar. Very clean. Drinks great. My husband had chicken fingers the best I've ever eaten. An I had rock fish delicious. Highly recommend
