WAFFLE HOUSE! This is my favorite breakfast restaurant. Waffle House doesn't pretend to be anything other than a place to get a good meal that's not expensive. I ordered the All-Star Special with cheesy grits, cheesy scrambled eggs, and sausage. The restaurant was nearly empty, and the staff was friendly and professional. The food arrived very quickly and was delicious. I didn't get the good WAFFLE HOUSE coffee because I had been driving for 10 hours and was over...
There were 4 workers in total, but it seems there was only 1 really working. Cleaning the tables, waiting on the customers and helping to cook the food. We were given our check before we even received all of our food, of which we had to ask about our waffles. The service overall was really poor, my waffle wasn’t cooked well done crispy like I had asked, and my grits were cold.
The tweaker cracked out lost soul behind the counter served my eggs completely undercooked, the environment was as chaotic and ghetto as usual which I really dont mind, but when the cooks are clearly under the influence and serving raw food is when i start to have a problem.
