Crab cakes were amazing. Staff was super friendly and very helpful to me and others that walked in. Very pleased with all aspects of this visit. Didn't dine in so I didn't pay much attention to the dinning area.

Riverside Pizzeria is truly a community staple. The pizza? Some of the best I’ve had in a long time. Shockingly good crab cakes (yes, from a pizzeria) and everything tastes fresh, made with care, and done right.
Prices can be a little up there — but it’s 100% worth it.
And let me be clear: their cheesesteak sub with provolone and American, hots, mayo, and fried onions is hands-down one of the best out. Better than Cheesesteak & Co. and I said what I said. If they ever add Cooper Cheese as an option… WELL MY GOD.... it'll be over for other cheesesteak places lol
Riverside isn’t just food it’s comfort, consistency, and quality. Definitely a great find for someone new to the area.

I grew up in Abingdon 20 years ago and Riverside Pizzeria was one of the first places where I could ever afford to buy my own meal. Back in town for the holidays. Just went back today and got a cheesesteak, and it was excellent! I am not sure if this place is owned by the same folks, but consistently incredible food guys 👏

I’m assuming this place sold in the last few years and has gone way down hill. Food took forever as one guy was making pizzas and running the grill. Counter girls had no idea what was going on with orders. one guy was just making sides and my fries were still way under cooked. My pizza was done and placed on the counter before the same guy went over to start cooking my sub while the under cooked fries just sat in the bag getting cold. Tried them twice in the last month, gonna need to find a new option

I’m very disappointed. I ordered a crab cake sub and a chicken cheese steak sub. Both subs were prepared wrong. The person taking my order over the phone obviously did not pay attention to what I clearly wanted. I’ve ordered from here for years and never had this problem. I won’t order again. Don’t want to dig through my food before I get home to see if person they depend on to take orders did her job. If that’s the case, I would eaten there and that wasn’t my plan.
Riverside Pizzeria is conveniently located near the south end of the Riverside Shopping Center in Belcamp. The restaurant was already busy at 11 a.m., which should not be surprising given the good food. One orders at the counter and either eats in at the clean booths or gets carry out. I did the latter which is how I realized how full and heavy the 12" Delux Pizza is. It had literally ALL the toppings available. They specifically asked if I wanted anchovies, and I'm glad I said yes, as they gave the pizza a wonderful smokey and umami aroma and taste. The arrangement of all the ingredients was beautiful. The price was definitely worth it for all the food. As a side i got the fried zucchini that came with a dressing for dipping. Staff were friendly and helpful, and parking was easy. The quality and taste made my happy to patronize local restaurants.
