This one stings cause the service is awesome and the people are great. They sell bread here that if fresh and delicious, it's awesome. My issue is with the baked goods. I know we're in the US and we Americans love our sugar, but everything I've ever tasted from here is so toothachingly sweet that I can't eat it. It reminds of desserts from my childhood. Ya know, when you didn't want any real flavor other than sugar? I do a lot of baking and I'm always trying to find that perfect balance in desserts. Salty, bitter, tart, acidic, all these flavors can be used to make a great dessert. But Baked stopped at sweet, and left all other flavors on the table. That said, I think most kids would enjoy anything from here, so it's good for families. If you want a grown up dessert though, go somewhere else.

I wouldn’t call this a coffee shop…more like you can get an already made coffee served diner style where you can add sugar and cream. No “fancy” specialty menu here. Where it really shines is the pastries and desserts! I had a warmed peach dumpling. It was delicious and something I’ve never had before. Same with the brownie. Definitely worth going again. The building and cafe is absolutely adorable and inviting.

Small bakery with quite a few choices. Not your typical American baked goods which are dense and not spongy. This is the best among the very limited options we have found on the eastern shore.
I love that they always have gluten free options. I had the crustless cheesecake today and it was so good. This place is a treat every time we're in town. ❤️

Baked was AMAZING!!! They made our wedding cake and cupcakes and it was more beautiful than we could have imagined. I would recommend them a million times over. Robin was the sweetest and so reasonably priced. They saved the day with a late wedding cake request and they pulled through with perfection. Could not be more pleased and happy with our experience there.

I was so hungry even though I just had lunch at the Blacksmith; just wanted something sweet. The line of “bombs” are cute and a nice snack; we each had one in the store. I got an original peach dumpling… it was a bit small and back at home that night just did not impress. Should have gotten a cannoli as they looked great or a pepperoni pizza was on the special board.
