Blacksmith offers incredibly tasty and creative food with great service. The mushroom bisque and crab bisque were velvety and seasoned to perfection. The menu includes unique items like an eggplant sandwich and a softshell crab sandwich with flavorful additions. The duck special with stuffing bread pudding was heavenly. Even the rock fish and double burger were spectacular. The restaurant has tight parking, but the overall dining experience was a game-changer for this customer, who found their new favorite spot and plans to return multiple times.

Recently, visitors raved about the vegan lemon risotto with crispy artichokes, which was the highlight of their trip. The dish was so good that non-vegan family members were fighting over it. Although service was a little slow, it was forgiven because no other place in town offers a separate vegan menu. Samosas were also highly praised and considered totally worth the hype.

Guests also enjoyed an amazing dinner experience, praising the fabulous server Jesse who guided them through many great choices. The appetizers, especially the deviled eggs with lightly battered and fried egg topped with crab, were described as unreal. The large and tasty entrees left diners unable to finish and with no room for dessert. The spicy pomegranate margarita was called sublime. The decor inside and outside is lovely, with a large, beautiful bar. Parking is available in a sizable lot and on the street.

Many guests loved the samosas appetizer and the veggie “cheesesteak,” made vegan by substituting mayo for cheese, which they found awesome. There is curiosity about trying the vegan crabcake sandwich to see how it compares.
