Casual dining in an old blacksmith bldg with a decorative tin ceiling and oldtimey decor. Lots of atmosphere here! Excellent original food and drink with rotating special treats. Local seafood too. Friendly staff; very accommodating. Easy to hang on the regular!

Enjoyed a great meal with personal service from Jess. Drunken Crab Cake was crab bisque with extra lumps of crab and a small crab cake, my wife enjoyed mushroom bisque and a delicious cheeseburger.

Got a drunken crab bisque, took one bite and sent back due to a strong cherry wine flavor which I was not aware of. Usually bisque is made with white wine. Within a minute of telling the server all I can hear is cursing and chatter about how I didn’t like the soup.Very unprofessional and upsetting considering the server did not mention this. Oh and they still charged me 25$ for something I didn’t eat. I’ll say the server we had was kind, but everyone else working the shift today…not so much.

Amazing food and service. Loved the atmosphere and the specials were so good that I had to get food to go! Rockfish tacos, deviled eggs, seafood empanada, and the bread pudding...all stellar. Highly recommend!

Wonderful place. We came upon it completely by accident. Beautiful little town, the restaurant is top notch. Shane was our server, he was great. The menu choices were outstanding and the food and drinks were amazing. I'm glad we decided to skip the rainy day concert at the beach to explore locally instead. I highly recommend it.

Great shrimp and crab homemade pasta dish at a reasonable price and the ribs and grits were a unique combo that was fantastic as well. The bartender knew how to make an Old Fashioned that was layered and unbruised to top off a great meal.

Will be back...

We have been going here for a few years and the food was always very good. The last couple of times there have been some small issues. Last week we went there and it was not good at all. I ordered crab cakes and my wife had pasta with shrimp and crab in cream sauce which she has had before and loved it. Our food came out in 5 minutes. My crabcakes were cold and the crabmeat had no taste and my wife’s cream sauce was like water. I sent my crabcakes back and I could hear someone in the kitchen arguing with the bartender that the food was hot when it went out. They microwaved my crabcakes and also the Potatoes Anna were raw and crunchy. It seems that finding a place to eat that is consistently good is impossible in the Ocean City area, tired of being ripped off.

Three is not a great rating but I will tell you I'd go back again in a heartbeat. It felt like perhaps the kitchen was behind/slammed and making some rookie mistakes. Going to start with the negatives but there were positives.
Negatives: the stacked crispy eggplant was a mess. The eggplant was not at all crispy. Though it tasted ok, it was nothing but mush. There was so much boursin in between that it was all you could taste. Also, it's hard to understand why something like bread or toast points wouldn't be served with it.

One of us ordered the crabcake platter. The cakes were both burnt. The kitchen shouldn't have sent it and the server should've had a better eye. They were clearly burnt all over but the bottom was one solid color of near black. The potatoes with it were under seasoned.

The cream of crab was also disappointing. There was too much sherry in it and tasted over-reduced. Like perhaps it had been simmering for way too long the past couple days.

It was frustrating because you can tell that they are capable of putting out better food but too many things were poorly executed.

For the positives:
The crispy deviled eggs are amazing. Get them. Period.
Our server was very friendly and provided good service.
The setting is lovely, albeit a bit crowded inside.
Other than the deviled eggs, the shrimp risotto was a real hit.

Next time I'm in Berlin, I wouldn't hesitate to go there again but probably not on a busy Friday night.
